Chapter 80 Turtleneck

James' POV

It's been three days, and I'm surprised at how mild each episode has been for Sawyer. He hasn't had nearly as many as I did, and I haven't yet seen an episode last more than 15 minutes, which is a miracle.

I had a few during the daytime, but they were mild. For some reason, it's the nighttime episodes that came on with a vengeance. Those were the ones that made it feel like you were dying. It felt like my soul was being torn apart each time, making me relive it all over again.

My episodes ranged anywhere from 30 minutes, to an hour, with excruciating pain.

But thankfully Sawyer's doesn't seem to be as painful.

But it's a pain that I still can't bear to see him go through. There have been so many times I wanted to pull my shirt off and throw the gloves on the floor so I could hold him against my skin, and let him feel it.
