Aubrey

Gabe and I staggered into his house, both drunk and laughing. The plan for one drink didn’t stick. I had lost count of how many drinks we have had, but the drink has relaxed us. We were getting along great. There had been a lot of talking, laughing and even a little flirting in the last few hours we have been together. I know the flirting shouldn’t be happening, but drink makes you lose common sense if you have enough.

“Drink?” He asks.

“Yes, please, one more, and that is enough,” I giggle.

“If you insist,” He chuckles.

He heads off to grab us both a drink. I look around, and my eyes fall on a music station. Yes, music is good. I went over, working out how to put it on and found a song that I could dance to. Yes, I wanted to dance. I always want to dance when I have been drinking.

Gabe It didn’t take long until we were both completely naked. I forgot how sexy she was, even sexier now than she was back then. The kissing between us becomes heated and quickly. I was desperate to get inside of her again, feel her wrapped around me once again.I let my lips wander her entire body, taking in the feel of her skin, her scent once again. Aubrey moaned below, arching into my touch. I run my lips to her breasts, sucking and kissing on each one before continuing down. I made sure to explore anywhere I could reach.“Gabe, please, I need a release,” She begs.“Patience,” I said firmly, slapping her thigh.Aubrey cries out. I think she liked that. If I remember correctly, she likes it a little rough.“Mmm, yes, Sir,” She pants out.She also isn’t afraid to tell or

  • Clashing with the CEO   Chapter Thirteen - Can a girl not get peace?

Aubrey I woke early to find Gabe still sound asleep next to me. I took the opportunity to remove myself from his arms, from his bed. I don’t even know why we were cuddling. That wasn’t my doing unless I rolled over when I was sleeping. I searched for my things, getting dressed. I need to get out of here before he wakes up. I don’t want to face him. I can’t believe we have done this before, and he didn’t even tell me.He sure had changed since when we first met. He wasn’t as ripped back then. He didn’t dress the way he does now, and he sure as hell wasn’t as arrogant either. Then again, I am not the same person I was all those years ago, either.I made sure I had everything before sneaking out. I called a cab from outside to take me home. I don’t want him wakening up while I was still there. It was still early, so it was back to bed for me when I get

  • Clashing with the CEO   Chapter Fourteen - Clashing again...

Gabe Aubrey and I were back at work and back at each other’s throat. Even after spending a good weekend together.“I am not stupid. I know what I am doing,” Aubrey snapped at me.“I didn’t say you don’t know. I was giving a suggestion,” I snapped back.“Well, you are talking to me like I don’t know what I am doing,” She hisses. This has pretty much been how the morning has gone. Kay tried to calm us down, threatening to give Aubrey a warning, but I told her not to do that. In the end? Both Kay and Darren left us to it, going somewhere else to work. She was pissing me off, but at the same time, her feistiness may have been turning me on slightly, also.“No, you are just making it seem that way to make me look like an asshole,” I growled.

  • Clashing with the CEO   Chapter Fifteen - I will not be making a habit of this...

Aubrey I was waiting for Gabe to come to pick me. Why do I keep agreeing to this? And why would I agree after this morning? I don’t know what I am doing anymore. I swear the incredible sex we have shared has messed with my brain. Tonight though, it was only dinner. No sex, no drinks, just food and conversation. I am keeping my self-control tonight.I had kept myself casual. I don’t need to tempt him in any way. I had skinny jeans, heels, a tee, and a cardigan over the top. My hair was in a ponytail, and my makeup light.Right on time, there was a knock at my door. I grabbed my bag and went out. I don’t need him to come into my apartment; being alone somewhere private is not suitable for us.“Hey, you look nice,” he smiles.“Thanks, you too,” I reply.I will take nice. It is better than sexy or somet

  • Clashing with the CEO   Chapter Sixteen - Make the most of it...

Gabe Our night had gone well. We played nice and behaved. I don’t think I will ever get used to this strange dynamic we have got going on. One minute we are fighting, the next we are fucking, and then we are friendly. What is that all about? We had just arrived back at her place, and I was walking her to the door. I can be a gentleman, sometimes! Aubrey rests against her front door.“Thank you for dinner,” she smiles.“You are welcome,” I reply, smiling, also.Dinner was good, delicious. Suddenly, a silence came between us, but our eyes stayed connected. I wanted to close the space between us and kiss her, but I don’t know if it would be the right move.“I should go,” I said.It was best that I did because I don’t want to do something that will make Aubrey slap me, not after

  • Clashing with the CEO   Chapter Seventeen - Too good to stay away!

AubreyIt took me a moment to realise where I was when I woke up, but I soon remember I was in bed with Gabe, again! Why do I keep doing this? I know why because the sex is incredible! It makes me feel good. I looked down and realised I was wrapped tightly in his arms. When did that happen? When I fell asleep were facing the opposite direction, and there was space between us on the bed. Now, his front was pressed to my back, his arms wrapped around me. There was no room between us.I gently remove his arms from around me and climb out of bed.“Sneaking off?”I hear Gabe’s tired voice ask.“No, I am going to the bathroom,” I state. It was true. I wasn’t going to sneak out. I needed the bathroom.“Hmm, OK, then come back to bed,” he groans.I didn’t

  • Clashing with the CEO   Chapter Eighteen - Week from hell...

GabeIt has been the week from hell. Everything had been going wrong, between work and my damn ex-girlfriend suddenly getting back in touch with me! And on top of all of that, I have barely even seen Aubrey outside of work. That was my fault! I get that way if my ex comes around or contacts me. She was the only woman I ever let myself fall in love with, and she broke my damn heart! It is still something that gets to me even now. My ex has some strange power over me, and I hate it. It makes me weak and fucks with my head, heart, and moods. Hence, why I have been avoiding Aubrey.I turn into even more of an asshole when this happens. It was bad enough I have been acting like a jackass more than usual at work. But tonight, it was time for an apology. Aubrey, I believe, got tired of me, and I don’t blame her. Today at work, she didn’t even look at me and only spoke to me if she needed to.I was

Aubrey Gabe and I had arrived at our hotel. He had rearranged the appointment for tomorrow with his friend because we didn’t get away from work until four p.m. rather than two p.m.“I will book us in,” he said, going over to the desk.I stood with our bags. It was only overnight bags because we didn’t need to bring much with us. Gabe was making his way back to me in only a matter of minutes.“Come on, gorgeous,”He takes the bags from me in one hand and offers me his other. I am hesitant for a moment but take it, and he leads us to the elevator and up to our room.“How about we get showered and head out for dinner?” he suggests.“Yes, sounds good. I am famished,”I haven’t really eaten much today. I had breakfast and only an apple for

*** Three Years Later *** Aubrey “Ahh, I can’t believe it. We are officially in business.” I squeal excitedly as I look around. The workers had done a fantastic job! All the desks were in one large open area so everyone could work in the same space. Gabe and I had our office. We had a food bar set up with everything from cereal to candy, plenty of drinks, and there will be fresh food every single day. We wanted to make a space where everyone would be comfortable. Our staff will consist of forty people in total. I couldn’t wait to get started. The place is decorated with blue and white. It was modern in style. It is everything we pictured it to be. Ga

Gabe “Will you please tell me where we are going? You can’t ask a girl to dress up, take her in the car somewhere and not tell her.” Aubrey huffs from next to me. “No, you will find out soon enough. It doesn’t matter how many times you ask. I am not going to tell you.” I reply firmly. “Fine!” she groans. I laugh and shake my head. The woman had no patience. I know once she realises my plan, she will forgive me. I had a special night planned for us. I enjoy spoiling my stunning fiancée. I am still trying to get used to calling Aubrey that, but we have only been engaged a week. I was eager to make my wife, but we didn’t want to hurry things. “We are here.” I smile, finding a parking spot. Marry me?” he repeated.Oh My God, I did hear him right. I stood there, just staring at him. I needed a moment to process his words. Where did that come from? I was not expecting it.“Are you being serious?” I stammered out.“Yes. I love you, and I know in my heart you are the one for me. I don’t ever want to be with anyone else, only you, my love….” He trailed off, the nervousness evident in his voice.I love him too, with everything I have in me. Gabe Aubrey and I had just arrived at the launch party in the limo.“Are you ready for this, my love?” I asked, looking at her.“As ready as I can be.” She smiled.I nodded and kissed her softly. She looked stunning tonight, and a part of me couldn’t wait to show her off to everyone. The limo door opened, and I stepped out first. The place was swimming with the pressed guests walking in, stopping for photos. The place was crazy. I knew it would be a big deal tonight. I just didn’t realise how much of a big deal.I turned around, offered Aubrey my hand. She smiled widely at me, took it, and I helped her out of the car. The moment she saw what awaited outside, she was like a deer in the headlights. She wasn’t used to all of this, not to this extent.“I am right

Aubrey I had dragged Gabe out shopping with me. I was supposed to go with a friend, but she was sick, so I decided that Gabe would take her place, much to his dismay. I was looking for a dress for the launch party next week. Gabe had his outfit, and it took him like ten minutes to find it online. By doing that, he believed he would get out of shopping altogether, but that didn’t go as planned for him.“Please don’t take all day, my love,” he pouted.“I won’t, promise, then maybe we can stop by the lingerie shop,” I smirked.“Mmm, yes, please…” he groaned.I would say that was a good compromise. I knew he would like that idea.“But there is a catch to it,” I smirked, “You can’t complain again about going shopping with me, or

Gabe I woke with a pounding headache and the hangover from hell! We got back to the hotel at six a.m., and most of last night was a blur. I checked my phone and saw I had called Aubrey in the early hours. It took me a moment, but then I remembered why I called her and that I told her I would call her first thing.I hit the call button on her name. I wasn’t sure if she would answer because I knew she had plans with her friends today, but I wasn’t sure of the time she was leaving. It rang only a couple of times, and then she answered.“Good morning, love. Are you rough?” she giggled.“Morning, sweetheart. Aubrey Gabe was away for the weekend with a few of his friends for one of their bachelor parties. The wedding was in a couple of weeks, and he asked me to go as his date, to which I agreed. I had plans with my girls tomorrow. We were going for a spa day which I was looking forward to because it has been a busy week.As for Gabe and me, we were keeping it on the down-low for now, well, to the people at work anyway. It is none of their business. The most important people know, and I am sure the time will come everyone at work will find out. But I don’t care. The fact doesn’t even bother me now. What is the worst that can happen? They judge. What is new in this day and age? I have another job to go to if I need to. My personal life has nothing to do with anyone.I was currently in bed, reading. Yes, it sounds boring for a Friday night, but I enjoyed it. I had
