THE MEETING

TINA'S POV

Calling Jay seems not to work anymore. He must have marked my number ever since the first time I called him with it because even though it usually rang each time I called, he never picked up.

Physical meeting became my best option.

I wasn't going to go soft on him. I was going to remind him of our deal. If he had forgotten what I could do with the card I was wielding, it was best I reminded him.

That morning, immediately I dropped my bag in the office, and I headed over to his office.

On getting to his office, the middle aged secretary informed me he was in a meeting with someone.

I expected to see Jessica at her desk but her seat was empty. Recalling Karen's suspicions of her, I became somewhat alarmed. Something told me she was the one in Jay's office.

Karen had always told me how strict and extremely professional Mrs Connie was. But seeing as she allowed me to wait for Jay to be done with his meeting without making a fuss, I was certain Jay must have informed her
