When Jay told me he was taking us somewhere for the weekend, I hadn't imagined it to be here or anything like this at all. Actually, I tried everything to have him tell me where but he wanted it to be a surprise and in his words, ‘it was no place in particular’. And silly me had imagined us wandering the whole of Denva City.

It must have been the excitement and the curiosity of the whole vacation thing but I couldn't bring myself to sleep.

Knowing Jay as someone that rarely had time to have fun, I was afraid he would come up with something boring and end up making us miserable.

The only time I saw him come close to having fun was when he played with a kid when I still worked as his maid.
