Chapter 30

The next week was their final exam and they were preparing for it. Alexander and Seraphina were always together, learning for their examination. Even though there were obstacles in their lives they were determined to make their families proud.

One day, Sera and Alex held their hands together and strolled on the school's compound. Alexander realized that Sera was smiling when they were chatting.

“ I could see you're very happy. What's the secret of your joy?” Alex asked.

“ Can't you see our parents are not fighting anymore? It seems they have reconciled” Seraphina replied.

Alexander kept quiet, he knew that the feud wasn't over after hearing his dad's call with the friend.

“ What's wrong?” Sera asked when she realized that Alex's face had changed.

Alexander told her that nothing was wrong. They went to the library to continue their studies.

They closed from school, and Alex asked Sera if they could hang out in the night.

She agreed with him, hugged him, entered her car, and drove off
