“Don’t you think it’s time to mark me?”

I asked huskily, as I tilted my head baring my neck at him. I know that it was not easy to be with me these past few days. And have seen how patient Drake was with the whole ordeal.

I am not usually an emotional person, but after knowing the truth, something in me broke down and I just started crumbling down and there was nothing I can do to stop it. But despite seeing me at my weakest, Drake never said a word nor did his way of treating me change. Well, it did change, but it was always to my benefit.

I see Drake’s eyes flicker from my favorite shade of hazel to the darkest black I have ever seen and vice versa. I smiled as I can feel Drake’s uncertainty.

‘I think Drakey is still walking on eggshells around you,’ Leia purrs.

I know that she had been waiting for this as much as I did when I first shifted. Set aside the painful past that Leia and Selene had both shown me, I remember that one moment before all the chaos in my head began.
