Liam paced back and forth as Zidane read the file he had recovered during his investigation. Some files were telling the details about Jazmine and the fact that she wasn’t a human. But there was no telling what kind of species she was. Apparently, the real mission of June Lab was to replicate Jazmine’s DNA. After an experiment went wrong, Jazmine was sent to her uncle, Richard Diaz.

This was like the fifteenth time he had read the file, as if the information on the paper would change in each reading. Liam couldn’t stop thinking that Jazmine was actually the daughter of Valentino Darragh, who mysteriously had gone missing since the war with Angel of Death and Knights of Death. Liam thought there was another person named Valentino Darragh. He didn’t expect it to be the same Valentino Darragh that his Alpha pair had spent months trying to track down.

Liam and Cohen rested inside an abandoned ship in the shipyard. Cohen checked the map he had marked to make sure they didn’t miss a point. From the look of it, the place was almost deserted. There was no sign of life except for the few cars that came and went from the shipyard. “It’s weird to see this,” Cohen said, pointing to the ugly lines he marked on the map. Those lines were the directions of the cars that came and went. The more he looked at it, the more he thought the shipyard was more than just a shipyard. The cars stopped at the largest abandoned ship in the middle of the shipyard. Liam looked at him briefly before another group of cars arrived in the shipyard. This time, they stopped in front of the large ship. They dragged someone who was tied and the head was hidden by a black bag.

“Okay, this is what we have so far,” Cohen said as he laid out the map on the table. He began to explain the points one by one, making sure everyone was able to fully grasp the situation. Cohen knew that they couldn’t directly go for a full attack as they didn’t know anything about their enemy. Their only best lead was to look at the big ship in the shipyard and hopefully to find a clue where the entrance would be. “We will move out soon. Please brief your Enforcers,” Cohen said. “Yes, of course.” Zidane agreed. “My Enforcers are ready to leave with you as soon as you give the word, Alpha.” All the Alphas and Beta left the office. Liam sat down by the bench, watching the Alphas briefing the Enforcers. Liam’s hands were trembling on his thighs as fear grew inside of h

“YOU’RE LYING!” Jazmine screamed at the top of her lungs as she lunged herself towards Rowan. He laughed sadistically as he took a step back faster than her step forward. The door slid closed and Jazmine bumped against the cold door. She cried her heart out as she slid down to the floor. There was no way it was true that she was the killer of her own mother. What kind of a daughter would she be if her mother died in her hands? Jazmine stared at the paused video on the wall. She had ignored Richard’s warning about using the power of her hands. Now, she had killed a woman who gave birth to her. “Dad, what have I done?” Jazmine sobbed on the floor. Rowan walked smugly out of the block and headed to his office, not far from there where he could monitor Jazmine through ma

Jay was sitting in the living room of his villa on top of the building. When he came to rescue Liam earlier, he knew he would attract attention to himself. But it didn’t matter. Jazmine was captured by the mercenaries and he would do everything he could to find her. He listened to the footsteps coming outside his villa. He opened his eyes and smiled before the front door was kicked open and three dozen mercenaries rushed in with big guns. Then next thing he knew, someone hit him with a blunt object and everything else was just blackness. When he woke up, he was inside a car with a black bag over his head. He didn’t know where they were taking him but it felt like they had gone off-road for a while. He chuckled as he looked at the camera on the ceiling. His hands were cuffed by a special bracelet that sealed his power. His plan might look stupid but he got whe

Liam growled when he heard the name Rowan Robinson as his sister’s mate. He didn’t expect that. To be honest, he didn’t expect any of these. He was supposed to have fun with Jazmine and Anita on their summer vacation. Instead, this happened. “I’m sorry to tell you this way,” River said apologetically. “Anita didn’t even want anyone to know. She was completely broken. Bryan and I were left to pick up her broken pieces.” Liam ran his fingers in his hair. If River didn’t tell him anything, he wouldn’t have known about Anita and her mate. She never mentioned anything to him and that was why he didn’t suspect anything bad happened to her. He thought everything went well. It seemed he didn’t know his sister that much anymore. “We did our best but we weren’t sure if she’s fixed,” River continued.

“Sir, we have to evacuate now. The facility is collapsing!” A man shouted after he pulled Rowan from falling into the fire as his office collapsed. Rowan couldn’t believe that Anita used blood magic to create an explosion. He thought she was just a mere werewolf who got involved with the wrong people. Rowan’s legs stopped moving as his hand reached for the electronic pad from the security. The live feed installed around the shipyard showed that the daemons were working with the pack and making their way there. Yet, there wasn’t any slightest fear visible on Rowan’s face as his lips stretched in a wicked smile. “Initiate ‘House Cleaning’ protocol,” he instructed as he returned the electronic pad to the same security who nodded in return. Rowan walked again. “Your transport is ready, sir.”

Blue shield covered Jay’s body as he pushed his way out of the debris. He had overused his power, and it was taking a toll on him, but he had to find Anita before the facility collapsed completely. When he met Anita, he knew she knew something about Jazmine and played with a double-edged sword. Anita had to keep her enemy close to protect her best friend. Jazmine was never in witness protection. Those bodyguards outside her home were there to monitor her movement to make sure she didn’t run away, or someone took her away. If Jay weren’t careful one night, his life would have ended in the hands of his enemy. But Anita found him and saved his life, making him indebted to her. After he trusted Anita, who risked everything to protect Jazmine, he revealed everything to Anita and why he always kept his eyes on Jazmine. From there, Anita suggested they kept doing it without making any changes. Anita was willing

Everything stopped in slow motion. Liam looked at Jay who remained silent. His silence wasn’t because Stefano’s statement was false. But it was because it was the truth that Jay tried hard to conceal from everyone. Jay straightened his posture and nodded as he said, “My real name is Judah Olesten. I’m the current Lord of the Elders from the sixth realm.” Sixth realm? Liam turned to Cohen. They remembered what happened to the sixth realm. When the Angel of Death escaped from the Legion of Angel’s pursuit, he fell in the sixth realm and harvested every life form in there with the help of his lover, Trinity. Since then, the sixth realm remained barren. But Liam never heard anything about a species called the Elders. “The Elders are very much a distant cousin of th

But the miscommunication slowly caused a rift between them.Liam stood there, repeatedly blinking while trying to dry his dripping wet hair. A week later,"Have some rest, Anita." Jazmine pulled the duvet to cover her up.It had been a week since the court hearing. Anita was discharged from the hospital and recuperated in the pack mansion. Jazmine knew that inside, Anita was grateful for the decision of the courthouse despite it still wasn't the happiest news she had received. But, Mira fought for her just as much as Luna fought for a fair justice system.# TrialJahan collected all the documents from the seven Councilors, and he was looking through them one by one—make sure everything was in order."3 Councilors are in favor of the punishment," he revealed, putting the three documents to his right. Anita demanded the Enforcer drove her to the Council when she heard that the battle was won, and Rowan surrendered himself to the Council to answer his crimes. She knew that even though the Council was under a new system, there was still a high chance that she would never see him again, especially he was involved in the conspiracy to eradicate all supernatural species. Anita knew Mira was the deciding voter for Rowan's punishment. She was hoping that Mira would show a little bit of mercy."Rowan!" Anita shouted his name as soon as she arrived there at the same time as him.Rowan was handcuffed and escorted by Brandon into the building when she got there. They won the battle, but another one was about to happen—the battle for her mate. Anita was going to fight for Rowan if she had to. He was still her mate.Rowan kept his head low and murmured something to the Gamma. Brandon glanced at Anita for a second before he escorted Rowan into the building, and the g

She was a human once, but now, she was no longer a human. She was the result of an experiment, something that was hard for her to swallow.Jazmine stood there in the back of her mind, surrounded by darkness. The loud voices had left her, and now, everything was in complete silence. There was nothing else left for her here. She didn't know what happened out there. Everything became blurry for her. The memories she had about her family and Uncle Richard had become a distant past and unreachable. She couldn't remember much about them anymore, as if someone deliberately erased those memories one by one."Jazmine...Jazmine...." Someone called from somewhere.Jazmine spun around and saw a beautiful woman dressed in white standing before her. Her hair was as white as snow and her eyes as blue as the sky. Her smile was dazzling, and her skin was glowing wit

Sylas asked.Mira didn't answer him. The entire plan had changed the moment Mira took the lead. She killed the Outer Angels along the way without feeling remorse about it. Nothing in the world could clean the blood that coated her hands since the day she decided to become Mira Red, the well-known redheaded huntress. This time she wasn't fighting for herself. She was fighting for Liam's happiness. Liam had sacrificed everything for her and Cohen. Mira thought it was about time she repaid Liam for that. The doom shattered, but it wasn't quick enough to stop Jazmine from touching the Sword of the Doombringer. Abbadon's sneer laughter echoed throughout the realm, stopping everyone on their track. Jazmine was holding the sword with her head hung low with her body trembling as she laughed wickedly. There was no hint of the real Jazmine anymore. The laughter sounded like thousands of voices combined, and it sent shivers down everyone's spine. Abbadon looked pleased even though the outcome wasn't what she had anticipated, but it was better than nothing.Combined with Mira's dark manifestation, Jazmine's soul became corrupted, and she fell into the darkness. With the sword of the Doombringer's influence, Jazmine strayed further from the Path of Light."Mira," Cohen called as he stood next to his mate while the Alpha's heirs stood behind them."Luna, what's going on?" Liam asked. At first, it was the battle against the Knights of Death. Now, it was a batt

Jazmine grabbed the chain from the ground right before Abbadon swung the Sword of the Doombringer to her. The chain wrapped around the sword, and Jazmine dodged it just in time. As her skin continued to make contact with the chain, a voice inside her head laughed at her as if something had possessed her.Jazmine pulled away, staggering. The laughter grew stronger inside her mind. Something dark was lurking at the back of her mind causing her to be unable to think straight. Once in a while, the scene before her eyes kept shifting to a darker scene. Jazmine fell to the ground with her hands clenching. What was happening to her mind? Why did she keep seeing the destruction of the world? Why did she keep feeling the blood coated her hands as if she killed those people with her own hands?"Luna," Liam called as if he recognized what was happening to his mate. He looked to his side and noticed Mira was looking at Jazmine with intense eyes. The werewolves and their all

    # Cohen's memory"Demon wolves," Stefano revealed to them the nature of their pups in Mira's bulging tummy. "All three of them are going to be born as demon wolves."Worries plastered on Cohen's face when the words sunk into his mind. This wasn't the first time he heard that his pups would be demon wolves when they were born. He had suspected it long ago, and also, Clavier hinted him the same thing. Hearing this suspicious had just added more worries in the Alpha. Not only because Clavier told him his pups would be stronger than Mira, but he also mentioned that the pups would be harder to control."This is very a rare case," the High Lord continued, "I've seen many births of hybrids during my time. They were either born as one of the parents' origin. Take an example of a hybrid of v
