Chapter Seventy Four

DOMINIK's POV

“Wolves?” I asked in disbelief as Luis’ words rang through my head.

Luis nodded solemnly and rubbed the injuries on his face, wincing at the pain it caused him.

“They suddenly jumped out of the bushes and attacked us. Due to how spontaneous it was, my search party could barely keep up with them and...”

Luis trailed off and gazed at me with sadness and a glint of anger in his eyes. He continued.

“We lost a wolf.” Luis said with gritted teeth.

My eyes went wide and I felt anger welling up inside me and daring to burst out. One thing I could not tolerate was one of my own, getting killed by another wolf clan.

“Where the hell are those wolves?” I growled.

Luis grimaced and shook his head.

“I do not know alpha. We managed to fend them off and they escaped into the bushes. I could not go after them due to my injuries.”

I clenched my fists and closed my eyes, exhaling to calm myself down and think about the situation with rationality.
