Chapter 126

CLAIRE's POV

Everywhere went silent and no one spoke. We all stared at the strange man who stood beside Luis. Something about the man, sent chills down my spine. I could not see his face, or decipher his build, as he wore a long thick coat, and the hood was over his head, covering his face completely.

Luis stepped forward, with a flat expression on his face. He looked drained, and tired.

“I have returned, and I came with a guest,” Luis announced.

Luis gestured for the man and he came forward. He took off the hood on his head and his face was finally visible to everyone. He looked quite young, like he was in his mid 20s. His face had defined features and he had a head full of curly chestnut hair.

His eyes however, were sunken and when he turned and looked at me, I froze, my eyes as wide as saucers. His left eyes was a bright blue, while his right eyes was a deep red colour.

Two difference contrasting colours. Just who was this man?
