Chapter 98: Her Wolf Friend's Death

Margarette's POV

Freed was in front of us and is who called our name. I stared at him and can't even tell what was written on his face. All I know is there is something that happened that I will never like.

“Caroline's body is now discovered, Margarette and Alpha Kayden,” just because of what Freed said, I get up from sitting on the ground although my legs were still trembling in nervousness.

“W-what do you mean?” I asked.

“Alpha Hayden and Avery arrived. They brought Caroline's body and now waiting for the two of you. I am sorry to inform you, Margarette, that Caroline is now dead. They found her body near the highway as they are heading in here,” it seems like time has stopped because of what I heard. It took me about three minutes before I could able to understand what was going on.

Alpha Hayden and Avery found Caroline's dead body on the highway. And it does mean… My wolf friend is now dead.
