Chapter 88: Kayden's Surprise

Margarette's POV

I and my other companions start our departure through where the birthday party will be held at. While we are on our departure, I suddenly felt my heart beating so fast for no reason. I don't know what was the meaning of that, however, I just disregard it and focus myself outside the car.

“Are you okay, Margarette?” I turn my head toward Alpha Hayden when he asked those words toward me. And then I remember what I realize from earlier.

“I-I am just thinking of something, Hayden,” I uttered and which made him furrow his brows.

“You can tell me about it, Margarette and I swear, I will never get mad with you,” he said, so I bit my upper lips first before telling him about it.

“About what you told me last time that you wanted to court me and about your willingness to wait for me—” Hayden never allowed me to continue my words when he cut me from talking.

“I already know what you wanted to tell me, Margarette and it's okay. In the first place, I know that it was still Alpha K
