Chapter 67: The Whisper

Margarette's POV

My friends and I went inside to our respective rooms to have a rest. I was here in my room and kept checking the outside view hoping that Kayden will return and I was waiting for five hours already. Darkness was about to arrive and yet, Kayden and his friends were still not there.

“Where are you, Kayden?” I asked and was trying to do again what I did earlier, however, it won't work anymore.

“Margarette,” I stop from moving when I heard someone whisper in my ear. When I turn my gaze to the back, no one was there and the strands of my hair stand on both ends because of what is going on.

“Who are you?” I asked and waited for ten seconds, however, I got no response.

“Margarette,” I gnash my teeth again when she whispers in my ear. She is a woman and her voice was so hypnotizing.

Damn.

Who is she? Why am I hearing her voice although I couldn't see her here?

“Can't you show up on me? Who the hell are you?” I can't stop to be annoyed with this woman who is now whispering
