Chapter 48: Forgiveness

Margarette's POV

“You can leave now,” I added and Kayden's reaction was speechless. That weren't the words I wanted to tell him but I wanted to see his reaction. I wanted to know what he would do after I pushed him away.

“M-Margarette, please don't do that with me,” I bite my bottom lip from what he said. Tears fell from his ocean blue eyes and I can't withstand seeing him like that.

“You told me that you're willing to wait even if it took years for me to forgive you, so be it. I will forgive you once I felt how sincere you are with me, Kayden,” Kayden wiped his tears and I noticed him let out a deep sigh.

“Yes, you're right, Margarette. I can wait until you forgive me and maybe, I needed to go,” Kayden turned his back through the way out of the pool area and so, I bite my bottom lip while my hands clenched. I looked at my friends and they were nodding their heads telling me that I should forgive him. My friends trusted Kayden and I know, they feel his sincerity.
