Chapter 35: Sorry

Margarette's POV

A deep sigh escapes from my mouth before speaking to him. I needed to breathe before talking and it is what I need.

“Don't you have trust in me?” I asked out of a sudden and Kayden lifted his head with me. He even sighs before speaking.

“Of course, I have, Margarette. I feel sorry about what I did and I admit, that I was only driven by my anger and jealousy. I'm jealous because of the thought that you were trying to defend Asher than me and sorry,” Kayden explained which makes me bite my bottom lip.

“Look, Kayden, you should not feel jealous because Asher and I had no relationship at all. I was only trying to tell you that you must control yourself to feel jealous although there's nothing you should get jealous of.” Kayden gets up from kneeling in front of me and this time, he holds both my hands while staring at me deep into my eyes.

“Sorry, baby,” he blurted out and my face reddened because of that. I can't stop myself to blush at the words he said.
