CHAPTER 67

As the moments passed, Lord Dimitri and his brother spent their time catching up on lost years. Charles went on to tell his brother about something's that happened in his life.

"I was just a boy when I joined the military," he began, his voice low and measured. "I was restless, searching for a sense of purpose in my life. I wanted to prove myself, to show that I was strong and capable."

Lord Dimitri listened intently as his brother spoke. He could see the pain and determination etched on his brother's face.

"At first, it was tough," his brother continued. "The training was grueling, and the soldiers were harsh. But I stuck with it, and I eventually earned their respect."

He paused, taking a deep breath. "And then, we were deployed to the front lines. The first battle was terrifying. The noise, the chaos, the bloodshed... it was overwhelming. But I fought on, relying on my training and my instincts to survive."
