As I stood alone in the house, the echoes of our heated argument still reverberating in the air, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions swirling within me. Meagia and I had clashed, our words cutting deep like sharp blades, and now she had left. She completely misunderstood my words which was obviously my own fault and even bigger was letting her go.

I was left to grapple with the aftermath, the weight of our confrontation heavy on my shoulders. Just as the silence threatened to consume me, my beta, my trusted right-hand man, entered the apartment. His presence brought a sense of familiarity and reassurance amidst the turmoil.

I turned to him, my eyes searching for answers, and I inquired about the hunch I had shared with him regarding Meagia's true identity.
