Chapter 71 The storm is coming 3

Vivian heard the door close and the shower started to run. Something was wrong but she thought it was because he was stressed at work. Closing the wardrobe, Vivian walked out of the room and into the kitchen to warm up food for Jaime.

She had prepared dinner earlier because Juke and her mother had not returned yet. After Jaime finished bathing, she wanted him to eat something warm before going to bed. Maybe they could make love again, this time without him having to use protection.

She suddenly felt she was ready to try for pregnancy. How nice would that be, she started thinking, if she had a child, Juke wouldn't be alone, and neither would she, Jaime would have the family he always dreamed of.

The thought of her small family eased her loneliness and anxiety, but an hour later, he still hadn't left the bedroom.
