At that time, there was only a handful of casualties from the plague, but today, we learned of fourteen new deaths in a different village and one more in the castle.Driz and I were looking over the map once again, baffled. Mr. Thomas, the mailman, whose notes we had been using to map the possible spread, had not visited the West Village at any time that he could have been carrying the plague before he fell sick.
