I groaned when my alarm clock screamed at me indicating it was 6 in the morning and time to get ready for school. I have to get up early because I have to tutor Tyler this morning in the library.
I tried to get up from the bed but my head was killing me. Thanks to Auntie who beat me yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised if I had a concussion and bruises all over my body.
I slowly rolled out of bed when I saw 2 panadol tablets and water on my study table. I took it to hopefully make this pounding in my head subside.
I walked into the bathroom and my eyes widened as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I had small bruise on my cheekbones, a cut on the corner of my lips, my make-up was smeared and tear stains covered my cheeks. My eyes shifted down and there was a large bruise around my neck in the shape of a hand print.
