“We need to talk, Hannah, we need to talk about what happened to Rhoda and how the hell did you get there?” Brandon said and Hannah nodded in response.

“What happened? Did you kill Rhoda?” Brandon asked

“What? Why would you think I would do such” Hannah asked

“I don’t know what to believe Hannah, what happened?” Brandon asked

“I received a text this morning from a strange number to come to a house and the address was sent, I was asked to come alone, or else I would see my son's dead body.

I couldn’t risk it, I had to go alone” Hannah paused and brought out her phone and showed Brandon the text message which he read.

He stared at the phone number and noticed it was Rhoda’s contact. He brought out his phone to confirm which he did.

“I had gotten to the house and everywhere was so silent, when I got in I met Rhoda’s dead body lying on the ground. And Jayden was in the next room with……..” she paused. She didn’t want to tell Brandon she had seen a gun in Jayden’s hands whi
