The next day,

"Stay with her. Do not let her out of your sight,l. Not even for a second," Cage warned them.

"Yes, Your Majesty," the guards answered. He was still not satisfied. He glanced at Brad.

"Do you think we should add more men? I'm not comfortable with this plan," he grumbled.

"There'll be no need for that," Brad said, walking forward. He looked too relaxed about everything.

He was positive the plan would work. Lara was already on her way outside. They do not want her to suspect anything. It would only get her scared.

"We'll be behind them so there's no need to worry."

Cage's lips thinned. He stopped the words that were about to leave his lips. Lara cannot get hurt again. Not on his watch. By doing this, they were placing her in harm's way and he didn't like it.

"I'm here," Lara announced, breathing heavily. She had to run out since Cassandra had been waiting for her for quite a while.
