“Anything?”, He asked, raising his brow.
Grace felt a spark of hope. If he asked what he wanted and if she would give it to him then he would leave her forever. This mere thought brought a small smile to her face. “Yes! Anything you want. I will work hard to pay any amount which you will ask.”, She quickly replied, thinking it was money he was going to ask. He felt sad, hearing her desperation to be away from him.
