Chapter 91
He arrived at the family dining room just before dinner began. His paternal grandfather––Pierre Berthold–– seemed pleased to find him, motioning for him to sit down immediately. It seemed that in his paternal grandfather's eyes, his paternal grandfather still saw him as a person who had just recovered from death and was fragile until he had to be treated with care like his grandfather's collection of flower vases.
