Chapter 104

“No particular reason," Stephen casually sat beside her without waiting for her approval. The man had clearly sent a special signal to Isabella, for she had immediately resigned under the clichéd excuse of leaving her with Stephen in the practice room where she was currently.

She then left the man alone with his thoughts. She drank the mineral water that she got from Stephen, then crushed the bottle to make a loud sound that echoed throughout the room (and actually surprised her too considering that there were only her and Stephen in the room as huge as they were now) as she got up from her place.

"Really? I thought you came here since you wanted to criticize my decision as you did earlier," she commented. Trying to stay cool after the ridiculous thing she did just now, she clutched the crushed bottle, standing with half of her body resting on her right prosthetic leg. "Because if I did, I would not--"

"Half of it, yes. I have to admit it," Stephen admitt
