The tension was thick in the room, and it was clear that Beau was on the brink of losing control over his wolf.
He stood beside me and his body was vibrating as his hands became fisted by his side, Beau was staring my parents down and I felt confused by his sudden hostility towards them.
Leaning my hand over to touch Beau’s arm I tried to calm him down, he turned his face in that instant to look at me and the shimmer of his wolf was right there, about to burst through the front door of his soul.
