I eyed Mordecai with temporary disdain as he fussed over the little stomach pain I was feeling. I ate another of my favorite foods and the baby didn't like it. I didn't want to tell him, but he has become a wizard since he found out I was pregnant. Eventually, he knew about it and was nagging and panicking, scattering my house pharmacy for drugs as if he knew what I ought to take. (Yeah, I had a whole little pharmacy in our house for emergencies)

He's not bad, he's a sweetheart really. But his overprotectiveness was a problem. Sure, I was able to reduce it by threatening both him and his grandfather that if they kept troubling me, I'd file a divorce or abort the baby. They thought it was a bluff so I showed them it wasn't by taking completely harmless abortion pills… Hold up, I changed the pills to sweets. Of course, they almost had a heart attack, but with the help of Aaron—I love that guy—I was able to pull it off. Well, you can't stop everything, can you?
