An escape plan

"Don't be stupid Marteen, you want to marry that girl?" Ariel after dinner she went to Marteen aka Dantley's room who was about to rest. "Even that girl said no to you," Ariel continued once again.

"You shouldn't have interfered with my choice, and now you'd better go back to your room because I want to rest," Dantley said, he now standing by the bedroom window, staring out at his mother. If Ariel continued to babble on then he would take Erlyn away and just disappear from the city to the Pack.

"How could you not interfere my son, you are my son, and whatever, all this time... All the decisions you make must have Mom ...."

"That's Mom, that's why!" Dantley turned to look at Ariel, he looked uncomfortable and unhappy. He could have refuted Ariel's words if he did not respect this woman, but Dantley thought he had taken Ariel's son's life so cruelly, and he was responsible for his position as Marteen.
