Jacob POV

I waited at the entrance of the restaurant instead of going away with my secretary. For some reason I wanted to see Jazz again. She was more beautiful than the photos I had seen her in and quite interesting too.

At least, she was no trouble maker. Even when that woman had insulted her she didn't leash out instead it was her manager and that was really amazing to watch.

"Oh, hey you are still here I thought you left already. Did you forget something?," I jolted from Jazz's voice. I didn't see her coming and right now I felt really nervous.

My palms were sweaty and my heart was beating really fast like a teenage boy caught doing something mischievous.

"No, I didn't, I just waited to ask if it was okay for me to drive you and your kids back home," I offered, not wanting to miss the moment of staying with her a little.

"Oh, thanks. It's very kind of you to wait here because of me and my family. But we came here in our own car," her voice sounded so smooth and lovely like the so

Jazz POVToday was another cheerful day to make a proposition. I happily walked into the studio Arianna and I had started to handle my career issues. The place was extremely big and comfortable. We had made an exceptional plan for it because it was going to be a good reputation for my achievements. The hallway I passed through had my pictures hung on the wall with different purposes and events I had attended in the past. The studio was a huge building in a U shape. We had selected while in Caribbean and had it furnished before coming down to California. It has this touch of classy but tropical setting. There were floor to ceiling windows that gave a spectacular view, mini palm trees aligned in pretty ceramic pots and so on.It was more classy than other studios that handled celebrities and it was really flourishing in money. We had quality employees and managed some upcoming artists who seemed promising. "Good morning Ms Jazz," one of the employees greeted me as I walked past them.

Jazz POV"Mommy, wake up you're going to be late for rehearsal," my babies jumped on my bed waking me up from my beauty sleep. It was Friday a work free day for me but since I had a film auction on Monday, Arianna had decided to make me rehearse every line of the role I was going to audition for."Give mommy five minutes more to sleep okay," I said, my voice drowsy and wanting more sleep."Godmother Arianna said mommy has to get the lead role at all costs. So no more free time for you until you pass the audition tomorrow young woman," Emilia said, keeping her hands on . She looked so cute when she acted like a strict instructor."That's true mommy, I will be your instructor while Emilia will be your script guide. Get up, beautiful mommy and have a refreshing shower because you are going to have a long day," Emil patted my cheeks gently with his warm little palms."Alright, mommy's going to have a shower now no more pressure okay," I got up from my bed satisfying their wishes."Okay, w

Emil's POV"Mommy loves you two so much. Have fun at school today," mommy pecked both of us waving us goodbye before she drove away to work.According to Godmother Arianna, mommy was going to have a busy day at work. "Sometimes, I wondered why someone would make our mommy work for so long in a day. Those people are supposed to be sued," I sighed, staring at my mommy's car until it drove out of my sight."I know but it's giving her a lot of money and she doesn't mind. So you have to accept it, in the future we will make sure she doesn't at all," Emilia said and I agreed with her as we walked into the school premises."Good morning, little masters. How was your night?," Our principal asked, making me feel exhausted already. He had made it a habit to always greet us at the entrance of the school gate. Which was totally weird for a kindergarten pupil because every other kid looked at us with so many thoughts in their mind. But my sister and I didn't really care either as they didn't have

Jazz POVI had cried myself to sleep after kicking Asphalt out of my house. And now, I couldn't sleep properly because of my itchy throat. This was bad, I shouldn't have cried so much. The fact that I cried because of him made me feel So pathetic. I even had to thank God that Arianna didn't see me in that state. She did freak out and accuse me of still having feelings for Asphalt and then she would get mad.Arianna isn't someone I could easily piss off and get away with. She would cluster my schedule until I forget the letter A ever existed.I finally rolled out of my bed after getting some water to quench my itchy throat to avoid any complications with my voice. The house was dimly lit and everyone was fast asleep. But the kitchen light was on which wasn't our style. Before we went to bed we made sure to turn off all the lights. Maybe, Arianna must have forgotten to turn it off.I went into the kitchen and no one was there but the coffee maker was dripping coffee. 'Did someone make

Jazz POVIt was finally the audition day and Arianna was accompanying me to it. She insisted that it was a big day for me since I had decided to go into the movie industry."We are here sweetheart, it's time for you to rock that role," Arianna chimed as we arrived at the film company that would be holding the audition. There were tons of people lining up to get a role but since I was an established celebrity, I was allowed to enter the building and wait at the star room."Do you have your rehearsal script?," Arianna asked me and I began to search my purse to get it out. As I was searching for it, I mistakenly bumped into someone almost crashing to the ground but the person caught me.I blinked my eyes in surprise when I saw that my savior was Jacob. "Oh my gosh, what are you doing here?, I'm sorry that's not what I should have said after crashing into you. I'm sorry that I didn't see you coming. So what brought you here?," I asked, still surprised that he would be in such a place."We

Asphalt POVI heard a slight knock on my study door and looked up from the document I was working on to see Janet. She was dressing more unusually than she would when she was at home. And for some reason, I disliked the dress she was wearing."Good morning, Asphalt It seems you are busy. Would you like me to help you?," she slowly asked, swaying her hips towards me. Whenever she acted this way, I knew that she wanted something.I sighed when she trailed her hands on my shoulders. "What do you want?," I repulsed her from touching me. I was in no mood for her cheesy games."Ok, well it's nothing much," she said sitting on my desk revealing her thighs since her dress had a slit by the side."I don't have time to waste Janet as you can see I'm very busy," I told her off with a stern voice."C'mon, don't be so mean to me. You have been working since last night. You didn't even come to bed and now that I'm here to keep you company...,""Fine, what do you want?," I asked her again without be

Jasmine POVHah!, it was a brand new day and a special one too. I have been working on the new film that I was starring in and for two weeks, I have been extremely busy.Today was my day off and I had the whole day to myself. And my kids were on a short break from school. They were currently playing with their toys in their recreation room. While Arianna was in the kitchen cooking up our breakfast."Hey, good morning. How was your night?," I asked her while sliding on the stool at our mini dining table. "It was lonely and cold, I think I need a man to keep me warm and wake me every morning. Let's go man hunting Jasmine," she chimed pausing from her cooking."I don't know about that Riri...," I tried to say but my phone rang and I quickly picked it as if I was waiting for it to ring for a long time."Hello, good morning," I greeted and Jacob slightly laughed. "Good morning, Jazz, you sound very excited today. Any good news to share?," He asked and I hummed like a child playing a gues

Asphalt POVToday was the first shooting of the movie Jazz would be starring in and I wanted to be present and watch her play the role.According to the interviews she had attended, she was highly anticipated on her new choice in the film industry. Even the way she answered the interview questions was promising.I cleared my office desk and got ready to visit the production center. Janet too would be starring as the second lead and I hoped she wouldn't flop in her acting. Because, most of the movies that I had watched of her were poorly rated and didn't even sell half in the market. But with Jazz as the lead role, Janet's reputation might be lifted or better still overshadowed. She had thrown multiple tantrums after I had refused to help her get the role and most of the time, spent time at her friends' places. At least she was out of my hair."Gil," I called my secretary and he responded quickly."I will be going to the film set. If anyone looks for me, ask the person to book an appoin

Asphalt pov"Oh, you are the Asphalt she always talked about. I am glad that you finally came to your Senses but it took too long. My sweet pearl always told me about you regardless of the way you treated her. She truly loved you to the extent that it hurt me to see her suffer because of you. I won't blame you for anything because I, myself, wronged her. Please, I will leave my child in your hands because she believes in you. I know that it will be hard for you to forgive yourself for what you did but Jasmine is not the kind to bear grudges. If she loves you then you have to stop dwelling on your regrets. That way you and her can live peacefully. And grandfather, I want to thank you for holding on to my daughter. I wish I could stay longer but I have to make up for the things I missed in my daughter's life. Please do take care of her. Janet's POV"I am sorry for everything I said and did to you. Please don't go," she remained cooled with a little life in her as I could feel the beat of her heart as I hugged her tight. She had saved in the cruelest manner and it was all my fault for not listening to her when necessary.By the time we arrived at the hospital, I had contacted some doctors that I knew who attended her immediately."Please hold Jasmine," I said as she was rolled into the emergency unit. Her breath was now slow yet she reached out her hand to hold my face."I am sorry that I had to do this to you but I just want you to know that I have always loved you," she managed to say and my world paused. I fell to the ground as the medical team continued their journey into the ward. I had stupidly neglected her all this while when she was the only one that truly loved me. Mrs Margaret was right this whole time and now that she was at the brick of death was the only time I realized my foolishness. All this time my

I scoffed from the pain I felt and wished she had just agreed to love me. But that would be hard for her. I didn't want to put any pressure on her and somehow it was my fault for pursuing her even when I knew her heart was with another man."I must have been delusional to think that we would wake up if I kept trying. I thought that with time you would come to love me but that was a lie to myself," I muttered stating the ugly truth. I could see the guilt and concern she had for me on her face and I felt sorry that I had been a burden to her.The tears that brimmed in my eyes went back on its own because it would be so cruel of me to cry In Front of her.I was deeply in love with her but my love was unrequited. "I know you are still in love with Asphalt and I am sorry for making it difficult for you to decide. But I want you to know that I will support you till the very end. That way, I can just be myself for loving you," I told her and she broke down in tears."I am so sorry that I coul

Turning off the stove, he bent me the kitchen counter and fucked me from behind. We had a quickie and got down to eat the food he prepared. "I will be going now to avoid any suspicion. You can go to my parents house if you need anything. I will be preoccupied from now on in order to get Asphalt out of our hair. Remember no calling or texting," I pecked him on his lips and left his place.By the time I got back to Asphalt's mansion, it was six in the evening and he was already home. As always he was stuck in his study."Honey, I am home," I said with disgust in my voice as I flashed him a fake smile."How was your time with your parents?" Arianna's pov"Thank you so much for giving me the chance to meet you. I really do appreciate the fact that you made out time to see me. I know that you people have been annoyed with my young master but he really isn't who you guys think he is. I can vouch that he is an excellent child who has locked himself inside his own shell. And I am afraid that Janet has taken advantage of his weakness," she said as she sat down opposite us."We will do anything to entertain you Mrs. Margaret. Jasmine told me about you and the way you were kind to her while she was still living with you and your young master. Please tell me whatever it is that troubles you," I assured her."Things have been going on lately. I have tried to keep up the pace of everything but the more I try, the more Janet gets ahead of me. Arianna POV"This looks nice. Is this for me?" I asked as I hugged Jeremy from behind. We were currently in his boutique and the dresses he had designed were so eye-catching. "Nope, if you want a dress I will design one for you. Just tell me what you want and I will have it designed immediately," he pecked my left cheek and I blushed like a sixteen year old girl."You will have to do all the designing by yourself. I don't have a particular style to suggest but I am sure you will be able to design a dress that will suit me perfectly. For now, I want to admire every dress here," I playfully said with a smile. He nodded and let me wander around like a kid while he kept his eyes on all the time. "Wow, how did you do this?" I pointed at a dress that had a thousand tiny crystal diamonds on it. "That dress was customized for a friend but she failed to meet my expectations. I didn't give it to her and decided to keep it," he said."Do you intend to sell it?," I asked him, keeping the dress

Janet POVI and Joe arrived at my parents house to deliver the good news. While I was on a vacation with Asphalt, all his assets were signed over to me. The thought of it was so joyous. He had handed his property over out of pity. To me Asphalt was a goner and I could kill him off now that I have acquired all his assets."Mommy, daddy, I have good news," I hugged them as I ran out of the car that I and Joe had come in."What good news my dear? You are looking so pretty this morning. Did the sun shimmer it's rays and you?" My mom praised me without knowing the source of my happiness."Something more than the sun happened to me. As you know I just got back from my vacation with Asphalt. Guess what?" I wanted to add a little suspense to make me curious. "C'mon my darling you know that we are too old to start playing that guessing game," my mom pouted like a kid and I laughed agreeing to tell her Immediately."Mom, Dad, I finally have Asphalt's properties in my name!" Asphalt POVI packed the last things we needed for the vacation we were embarking on. Janet's health still bothered me a lot. She was showing any sign of weakness or fever.According to the doctor, Jazz's condition worsened due to the shock she got after her fall. He centered mostly on her slight chance of conceiving a child again. And if she did it would be a fifty-fifty chance of her and the child surviving. In order to keep her from falling into depression, I did whatever she wanted. She was bright these days and I was glad that she was trying all she could to stay happy and healthy."I think everything is ready. We can leave now honey," she said after putting her last luggage in the trunk of the car."Alright, let us hit the road. I don't want us arriving late at the airport today," I muttered, taking caution of my safety. I could still remember the thugs that had attacked me the last time I got back late from work. The attack was something that I sensed was planned because the t

Janet POV"I will be off to work, if you need anything just call me and I will answer immediately," Asphalt patted my head before he left my room.He had barely escaped death and he still had the courage to go to work. My fear must have been ineffective on him. I watched from my window as He drove out of the compound and smiled pleasantly. Today, I and Joe planned to meet up. I went into my closet and changed into something sexy enough to get his attention. On getting to the front door, Margaret decided to be a thorn on my skin. "You are supposed to be resting. Your husband will not be glad to find out that you left the house in your condition. He strictly warned me to have a good rest before he gets back," she said with a straight face that got on my nerves."I just want to meet up with my friends. It would be nice if I got some fresh air. I am tired of being cooped up in my room everyday. I am sure Asphalt will not mind me stepping out for a moment," I I flashed her a fake smile.
