Nina's POV

He left shortly after, and even though I couldn't bring myself to ask what exactly happened, and all that had transpired between them, I swallowed while Brian stared down at me, waiting for an earful, but his eyes were on Julia instead.

“ How is she?”

My eyes flickered at her, she was still sleeping, the doctor had said it was going to take quite some time, but if I was going to be truthful, I hoped it would be soon because I was getting tired of watching her not responding to me already.

“ She is fine”

He nodded. “ Did you hear what we were talking about?” I gave him a raised brow.

I haven't been eavesdropping, so I didn't actually know if something had happened.

All that I had come out to witness was Ryan almost throwing a punch at him, and I had lost it. Brian would never hurt a fly, he was far too gentle for that.
