Poisoned

Nina's POV

Ryan's feet were stuck like he didn't want to go like he wanted to stay.

“ What if there is a complication? That would need my help? You can't just tell me to go when the surgery hasn't been carried out yet, you are supposed to mention to me that I should stay, and I don't really know why you think I want anything to do with you”

I knew that was a lie, that what he was saying was a lie. He was saying it to hurt me, or to make a point that he could say whatever he meant to and although, I would be hurt by it, it didn't mean a dime.

I couldn't attest for why my heart had pricked, like it had been stiffened in, his words punching it until I was unable to breathe properly, and I found myself in a word that was so different from the one I was in, but Brian's hands clenching my shoulder, drove me back in, pushing me in.

“Is there a problem? With your blood? You don't have to worry, you whoring about wouldn't affect the bone marrow, so you aren't needed here anymore”.
