Chapter 22: Dark and gloomy

Upon arriving a few feet away from the Silver Moon pack which was Alpha Jacob’s pack and the pack I had run away from four years ago, a sudden nauseous feeling took me over.

Finding a tree, I managed to change, and so did the others. My son who had been carried upon Alpha Jacob’s back now glancing at the huge Silver moon pack in awe but I couldn’t help but notice there was a gloom to this pack.

Although its stature was huge or even bigger than I had last seen it it was not the same feeling of happiness towards it. Why was it so gloomy here? Even beautiful trees looked like they were about to wither away.

The atmosphere felt as though someone significant had died and they were moaning about their loss.
