Kaiya’s body is a wonderland and I enjoy exploring it.

Her heat has abated for the moment and before she fell asleep she told me about melding into Aspen’s actions while she was dreaming. I am looking it up. I remember a bedtime story about ancient beings and one of the spells they performed was a blessing to allow one to walk in the dreams to their loved ones while they are apart from one another. It only works on people tied through threads of fate such as family members or mates, not ordinary lovers.

It would have been nearly impossible since these beings have avoided our kind for centuries, but the slim chance exists. Her mother would have had to pay some high price or be friends with this being for them to agree to such a thing.

I am reading about where and how these ancient Mystics might be found when Kaiya calls out to me in pain from another wave of her heat.

“I’m right here, my love!” I reply as I rush back to her side through the open bedroom door.
