Chapter 5

It seems that things are different now. Perhaps it would be better for Edward to make their relationship public to the world. Or would Felicia dare to ask Edward for that. 

“Well, I look forward to the day when the whole world knows that I am the wife of a billionaire,” Felicia said.

Her tone may have sounded like a joke. But deep in her heart, it was possible that Felicia really wanted to tell the whole world that she was the wife of Mr. Edward. 

“Then hang in there for a while longer,” Edward replied. 

Felicia smiled before finally replying, “Okay,” 

“Alright, I’ll see you at Blue Moon tonight.” 

The phone call was cut off just like that. Unconsciously Felicia was still smiling while looking at her cell phone. Imagining Edward’s face as well as his request to stay for a little while longer, seemed to give the girl a new hope. Would Edward finally admit their relationship status to the world. As it was, Felicia couldn’t imagine what kind of happiness she would get.

“You must maintain that smile during pregnancy. Get enough rest, don’t get stressed,” ordered the doctor. Apparently he had been watching Felicia’s movements.

Well, Felicia couldn’t promise to keep that smile. But she would promise to take care of the baby in her womb no matter what. 

Felicia had a pair of beautiful round eyes, sharp, but also shady. Her skin was pure white in color, with a slender growth as well as a standard money height. Her hair was long and silky, reddish brown in color. Her lips were thin, with a natural faded pink color, tempting to kiss, tempting to play with. 

Edward liked stroking or rubbing Felicia’s hair the most. That’s why when she met Edward, Felicia used to let her hair down, letting each strand fall gently like this time. 

Felicia arrived at the Blue Moon Hotel wearing a deep blue dress with an open back. Her glistening skin was so smooth that several pairs of eyes were stunned. 

After getting directions from the hotel staff, Felicia was taken to the top floor, where Edward had reserved a special place for the two of them. 

“This is amazing,” Felicia said. 

Apparently Edward had prepared the place well. The view of the entire city with its twinkling lights was a feast for the eyes. The clear, star-studded sky seemed to be part of Edward’s plan. The charm of the romantic exotic decorations was perfect for a couple who wanted to spend a beautiful night.

Not yet finished his amazement at the place, his view suddenly turned dark. A pair of burly hands with the scent of masculine perfume seemed to deliberately cover Felicia’s eyes. 

“I know it’s you, Edward,” Felicia said. 

“Can you pretend not to know?” replied Edward with a command.

“But I’ve seen everything, I even know whose hand is covering my eyes.”

“Come on, Felicia,” Edward begged. 

Wow, this was quite a strange day. Edward was pleading with a woman, and even more so with Felicia. Was there going to be a storm in their relationship, for Edward to behave so strangely at this time. 

“Well... My God, who has covered my two eyes. Please I can’t see,” Felicia said, following her husband’s game.

Edward chuckled, then let go of her hands. 

Felicia turned to protest to him, but before she could do so. Instead, Felicia’s focus was drawn to an object that Edward held in front of her face. 

“This is for you,” Edward said. 

The man was holding a white gold necklace with a beautiful diamond pendant. It was so beautiful that Felicia paused for a moment to look at it. 

“Wow, this is really nice. Can I sell it later?” asked Felicia.

“Felicia...” protested Edward later. The man took a deep breath. He grabbed the girl’s shoulder and turned her the other way. Now the girl had her back to him.

“I can give you anything you want. But not this one,” Edward said. 

He grabbed Felicia’s hair and pushed it to the front. As he put the necklace on, Edward said, “This necklace only exists in one world and it’s for you. I requested a special design for it, with your name engraved on it.”

“You say this to every woman who scandalizes you?” asked Felicia.

“Would you believe me if I said no?” Edward asked back. 

“Well, I have to believe my husband. Otherwise, my ATM might be frozen.” 

Edward rolled his eyes at Felicia’s answer. He was getting a little dizzy now. Sometimes he couldn’t understand her way of thinking. Was it true that her brain only contained wealth and money?

He took Felicia’s hand and led her to sit on the chair provided by the hotel. Without waiting long, the best dishes that Edward had prepared began to arrive one by one. 

Felicia wasn’t surprised, because the main purpose of the two of them coming here was nothing if not to eat. But what made Felicia feel different this time was Edward’s sweet demeanor. 

So sweet that Felicia began to think, “Should I just tell Edward about the baby in my womb?” 

“We’ve finished eating and finished looking at the sky like real lovers. Now tell me, what did you bring me here for?” Felicia asked with a little impatience.

“Well, actually I do have something important to talk about,” said Edward.

“This moment is perfect. I... also have something important to talk to you about,” replied Felicia. 

“Oyah, what is it?” asked Edward. 

“I’m not going to tell you until you tell me your importance first,” Felicia refused firmly.

“Are you serious?” asked Edward again, confirming Felicia’s wishes. 

And Felicia answered Edward with a nod of her head. 

“Alright, then...”

Edward gave a hand signal to a hotel clerk. The hotel clerk left for a few moments, then came over with a stack of letters and files and gave them to Edward. 

Felicia really didn’t understand what was going on. Especially after Edward deliberately placed all the files on the table and right in front of Felicia.

“These are all the papers for the house, property, and assets that I have converted into your name,” Edward said.

“What do you mean?” asked Felicia, not understanding.

“Our contract is over. I want us to get a divorce!” said Edward firmly.

Like a bolt of lightning. The day had finally come. The day when the contractual agreement between Felicia and Edward came to an end.
