CTB:LMR CHAPTER 5

The girl was just sleeping so he went down to prepare a towel and water to wipe the young woman.

While wiping her forehead he couldn't stop himself from looking at the girl's beautiful face. She's sleeping peacefully, only now did he appreciate her beautiful and angelic face.

He placed the small towel on the woman's forehead and sat on her bed, he gently caressed her face and let himself drown in her beauty.

He watched the woman for a few minutes when he suddenly remembered his ex–girlfriend and the reason for their break up he immediately clenched his fist.

He slowly walks away from the bed. He can't accept the fact that he starts appreciating the girl who's the main reason why he's broken now.

" This is wrong Luis, do not be deceived by her beauty" he whispered to himself.

He looked at the girl when he felt her warm hand, she opened her eyes slightly and looked at him

He froze for a minute before he started talking " How are you feeling? He ask her without emotion.

He looked at their hands, the girl still holding his hand.

" I think I'm fine. Thank you for taking care of me" she said in a weak tone.

She tried to stand up but she just fell and Luis immediately came to guide her.

" Don't move, just rest. You need extra rest." He said strictly

She didn't answer and relaxed in her bed. Her head are aching

" Are you alright?" He ask

She turned his head signaling that she was not okay

" Okay drink this meds " he helped her up and handed her a glass of water. He also feed her with rice and a little bit fruits

While feeding her she can't stop looking at his strict man figure. His handsome and strict figure made her in love with him. The first time she saw him she knew she's in love.

When her father announced that he's her future husband she's shocked and hesitates to agree even if she likes him. But she still agrees, hoping that her father's decisions are right.

She's full and Luis stop feeding her, he handed her water then Luis guide her to bed and she said " Thank you"

He didn't answer, after he fix her bed she went outside " Take a rest I'll just take a bath" he said

She could not believe that the man was taking care of her. She still feels bad so she closes her eyes again.

It was morning when she woke up, she feels better now. She took a bath and went downstairs. She's searching for Luis. She wants to thank him again for taking care of her last night.

He did not see the man downstairs. She called his name and kept searching for him. She didn't hear him so she decided to check him in his room.

But she remembers what Luis told him. She's not allowed to storb him or enter his room.

" It's okay, maybe I'll just knock. " She walked into his room. She's about to knock when she heard a conversation

She remained standing and put his ear to the door to listen to the conversation inside. She got curious and curious. She didn't hear anyone except Luis. Maybe he's alone talking to someone on the phone?

It was as if cold water had washed away her heart when she heard Luis' voice inside " Please come back to me Irene!"

This is what she heard inside, Luis seemed to be talking to someone on the phone and he was full of pain when he uttered the words. He's begging someone

"Who is he talking to?" She asked herself.

He could no longer hear inside so he brought his hearing even closer to the door. But suddenly the door opened and he fell to the cold floor.

She screamed in pain when his back hit the floor, " Ouch!! "

She saw two pairs of shoes at the corner of her eye. She slowly raised her eyes and faked a smile when she saw Luis' angry face.

" What are you doing here? "he shouted. His eyes were red. She didn't know if it was because of anger or because of the person he was talking to earlier.

"Ahh I've been looking for you for a while. I didn't see you downstairs so I came here, but don't worry I haven't heard anything." She close her mouth with her two hands

" I just want to thank you for taking care of me yesterday," she said

" I don't care. Didn't I tell you not to come near my room? Get out of here! " He shouted

His rude habit returned and he's mad at her again. She thought they were okay since he took care of her but she was wrong.

Luis pulled him upright " You really are the bad luck in my life. Why are you still here, why do I still need to be with you? Can you just disappear from my life." he said

Her tears flowed as she listened to what Luis was saying " Don't say that Luis."

" I don't care, I want you to disappear!"

" You are not the one I want to be with."

" Because of you she left me! Do you know that?!"

" I lost her because of this fucking marriage!" He shouted, she saw the pain in his eyes.

She wanted to comfort him but how can she do that if she's hurt too.

Luis has another loved one. She's hurt by the fact that he loves someone else and that's why he can't love her. But It's hurt more because she's the reason why the man she loves is hurt.

"I just hope I'm the woman he loves but unfortunately I am not." She cries

She's not fully healed. She felt the headache again. She runs to her room.

Luis looks at her worriedly but he ignores it and closes his room.

While running, Lia heard the door close and she cried even harder.

She opens her room and rushes to bed.

" Why is it so painful to love? I was ruining other people's relationships. Why is it that I don't want it but why does it seem like it's all my fault?"
