2024-10-29 19:42:56Scott immediately transfered his hands from his sides to my waist pulling me close to him. His body heat warming me up to the best it could. There was another movement behind and Scott stiffened.
"Stormy dear" Danielle came into the garden. Worry for her nephew was etched all over her face but when she saw how calm he was now, she smiled. "Both of you come in. It's getting real cold out"
I looked at Scott and he was throwing me get me out of here glances. I took his hands in mine leading him back to the house. Daniel and his dad, Carter sat by the counter dipping into salad bowls. David smiled when he saw me.
"Stay for dinner?" Danielle asked us.
"No"
"Yes" both I and Scott say at the same time. I glared at him and he was looking far away, out into the garden in the distance. I tugged at his arm. "We'll stay for dinner" I smiled at Danielle and she nodded before walking off.

I have my hair In a loose bun by the time I'm out for the shower, I oiled my skin, making it glow so bright. My eyes are no longer dull, my lip is no longer twitched in an annoying manner. I feel happy with myself. Happy that I'm happy within. The very person that's brought me sorrow in the last few months is now the same person making me happy. He's always been the one making me happy.And even when he couldn't remember me, somtimes I sat and thought of what could've been, or what had been.
