ARIANNA
"Help," I cried out as blood flowed from my vagina down my legs, amI didn't need a soothsayer to explain what that meant. I was having a miscarriage and would definitely lose the baby if I didn't get help.
I turned around constantly as the constant chirping of night creatures scared the living daylight out of me. It would have been easier for me if I morphed into my wolf form, as I would become one with nature and the forest, but the pain from that, coupled with the pain of miscarriage that I was passing through, would definitely kill me.
"Help..." I yelled into the darkness yet again, like it was even possible for anyone to be wandering this far into the woods.
My mum had wailed and yelled that the Alpha banished her alongside me, but I assured her that I was going to be fine. I didn't know that, but I would do anything to make sure my mom was okay.
The guards escorted me to the entrance of the pack, and from there, I was on my own.
I'm going to bleed to death.
My feet were suddenly numb, and I had no other choice than to sit on the spot. I hadn't been pregnant before, so I was totally clueless on what to do other than hold my stomach and squeeze it as hard as I could, hoping that it would ease the pain, which it didn't.
"Someone, help," I cried out again as I slowly gave in to the will of the goddess and lost consciousness.

Sorrows! Pain! Prayers!
The pain in my head was throbbing, and I wished that I would just pass out again when the rays of light from broken parts of the window shone on my eyes. I used the back of my palm to cover my eyes.
I nearly jumped when I saw a shadow bypass me in the limelight, but the hands of the shadow were quick enough to hold me down.
"Who are you?" I tried to swerve to see the person's face, but he was a lot stronger than me.
"Lie back down first. Unless you want to lose the baby totally." My hands subconsciously went to my stomach, and I rubbed it. How did he know I was pregnant? I’ve never told anyone that.
I didn’t even know till a few days before my wedding, and I realized that it might make a perfect wedding night gift, not until I saw my mate in the arms of my cousin.
I felt whoever it was dabbing my forehead softly with a warm towel, but the fear for life couldn’t just let me lie there like everything was okay.
"Who are you!?" I jumped out of the bed, ready to shift to my wolf form, when he raised his brows and I gasped seeing his face.
"Uncle?" I tilted my head to a corner, and he raised a brow.
"It’s Sergio. I would prefer you don't call me uncle; it makes me feel older than my age. And I'm not very old." He walked to the window and snapped it closed, but shock and bewilderment still filled me.
Sergio is Logan's uncle. He was the weird one in their family whom everyone feared. He never spoke at events, but everyone else was intimidated by his very presence.
"Uncle, I have to leave now." I ran to the door but didn’t get to it when my stomach began hurting again, and I clutched it while bending.
"I told you to lay down if you don't want to lose your baby completely." His hard voice pierced through, and I swallowed nervously.
"The Alpha would kill you if he finds out that you housed me. I was banished. I have to leave now." I resumed taking a few steps again toward the door, and this time he ignored me.
"Where is the back door? I can't risk anyone seeing me come out of your house." He wasn’t paying attention to me as he sat on a chair near the bed with a book in his hands and his legs crossed.
Is it a sin if I recognize what a fine young man Uncle Sergio is now? Fuck! No, Arianna. You’re not trapped in some kind of vicious cycle.
"Just go out through the front door. I can’t stress myself that much." He mumbled, not even lifting his head to look at me, and I scoffed.
Just the behaviour of all those that are from the Alpha’s bloodline. Quite nefarious and obnoxious beings.
I felt butterflies in my belly, and I wondered if that was also part of pregnancy, but I ignored it. My wolf was also acting tingly. I can’t keep up with this. I really have to give birth to this pup soon.
Pushing open the front door, I expected to see the jamboree of people and buzzing of children, but I was welcomed by the gentle sway of the forest breeze.
Surprise filled me as I stepped out and realized that I wasn’t in the pack but somewhere far away deep inside the forest.
Who owns a house inside of the forest? Or should I just go back inside? My feet were stuck, and I contemplated not until his cold and minty scent filled my nostrils.
"That path you're taking would lead you back to the pack. If you take the left, you can roam the forest as you want, but rogues are always out in the morning searching for breakfast. So make this easy for me, Arianna Zora Nor, and walk back inside." That was a command and not an option given to me, so I paid heed to him. It wasn’t like I had so many choices.
I hesitantly walked back into the house and kept my face low when I passed him, only to miss a footing and slip.
This is definitely becoming a romance movie, because can someone explain why his hands are around my waist and he's gazing into my eyes?
"Mate." He growled.
Premium shock of the year.
Author’s NoteAs I write these final words and close the chapter on Chasing His Stunning Luna, my heart feels both full and unbearably heavy. This book has been a journey—one that I poured my soul into, one that became a part of me in ways I never imagined. The characters, their struggles, their triumphs, their love—they were not just words on a page but living, breathing parts of my heart. And now, having to say goodbye to them feels like losing dear friends. This story was not just a tale of love, redemption, and strength—it was my anchor during some of the toughest days of my life. While crafting Arianna and Sergio’s world, I faced personal battles of my own, struggling with health difficulties that made writing a challenge.Updates were a hassle to do, writing was a hassle. I thought of abandoning this book, I thought of just giving up as I was so exhausted but a lot of you readers stood by me and supported me. There were days I could barely focus, days when I questioned whether
The sun hung high in the sky, its golden rays casting a warm glow over the training grounds. The sound of fists meeting flesh, the rhythmic thuds of bodies hitting the ground, and the sharp bark of commands filled the air.Arianna stood at the center of it all, her presence commanding, radiating both power and grace. She was no longer the hesitant Luna of the past but a leader who had fully embraced her role. Clad in a fitted black training suit that accentuated her toned physique, her golden-brown hair was tied into a thick braid that cascaded down her back, strands sticking to her sweat-dampened skin as she moved with fluid precision."Again!" she called out, her voice firm yet encouraging. "I want strength in every move! No hesitations!"The Gammas followed her command without question, executing a series of swift, lethal movements as they sparred in pairs. Arianna walked among them, correcting stances, blocking sloppy punches, and offering sharp critiques where needed. Her golden
ARIANNAIf I was able to curse in my wolf form, I would curse at this point!Sergio stood to his feet immediately and I looked over at the battlefield. It was chaos, the air thick with the scent of blood and burning wood. My chest heaved as I stood amidst the carnage, my gaze locked onto the massive wolf lying in a broken heap before me. Logan’s father. My body trembled from the force of my last attack. He had been aiming for Sergio—his massive frame crashing into my mate with the force of a hurricane. The sound of bones snapping echoed in my ears, and a cold rage settled deep inside me. Sergio groaned, but he was alive. My heart clenched at the sight of his battered body, but I couldn't allow myself to falter. Not now.The beast’s golden eyes flickered, his breath coming in short, labored pants. He was still alive, still trying to move. My glare bore into him, a silent promise that he would not leave this battlefield alive. He had hurt my mate. That alone sealed his fate.A sudden
ARINNA “Sergio,” I rasped, my voice a broken whisper, the name barely making it past my lips. He turned sharply, his dark eyes locking onto mine, immediately scanning me for injuries I think as I stood from the floor. “Baby?” I stopped short, my pulse drumming in my ears. I needed to say it, but the words felt like glass in my throat, sharp and impossible to swallow. I swallowed hard. “It’s Annika.” His brows drew together, his body tensing like a bowstring being pulled tight. “What about Annika?” His voice was rough, wary, as if he already knew but refused to believe it. I forced the words out before they could strangle me. “Silas has her. He brought her for us, I'm sure you can use her as bait. Sergio didn’t move. Didn’t speak. For a heartbeat, he was stone, silent and unreadable. Then, like a dam breaking, the realization slammed into him, and his entire body snapped taut. “What?” The word was a blade, sharp and deadly. I nodded, my breath coming fast. “He caught her. And
ARIANNA "We’re ready." The elder finally announced, his voice steady but grim as he turned to face me and I gulped. My heart was beating fast, really fast at this stage. Nothing can go wrong, I can't afford it. Dear goddess, if you're listening, please make this work. He motioned for the guards standing by the entrance. Two of them stepped forward, their heavy boots thudding against the cold stone floor. Their faces were set, but I could see the doubt lurking in their eyes. They had watched Sergio slip further and further away. They had seen me breaking apart with every breath he failed to take. And now, they were seeing my hope—the last shred of it—held in the elders calloused hands and whatever that potion is that he was holding. "Carefully." He instructed with a scrunched up face as they bent over him. The wound was still fresh yet it seemed like it was decaying and I thanked the moon goddess at least for the fact that he slipped into unconsciousness because the pai
ARIANNA I turned to Silas, my voice steady despite the tension coiling in my chest as my mind went back to the fact Sergio hadn't woken up yet. "You brought her here. You hide her. Somewhere no one will find her. Chain her up, make sure she can’t escape." Silas narrowed his eyes, nodding and then began scratching his head like he was shy of something. "Alright I'll do so." I turned to Mia for some back up but she just threw her hands up and leaned in to whisper. "He's thrilled and a little shy. To them, if someone ever gives a task, which means the person traits you. You could never understand their rules." She shrugged and I nodded in understanding. "What if she decides to be stubborn and thrash out or fight me? Can I hit her?" I almost bursted out in laughter but just let out a sharp breath. "Make sure she doesn’t get the chance. Just do it anyway you can before anyone sees her. We don’t need unnecessary attention." He nodded once and dragged Annika away into the, her muffle
