The knock on the door felt louder than it should have and I just sighed while staring at the door. After everything today, it was starting to feel like my door had become the center of everyone’s universe.

Like why can they all not just keep to themselves? I would really stab someone to death if anyone tells me they're knocking because they want to try and check on me.

Because their knocks are driving me crazy here!

I opened it with a huff, expecting something urgent, but instead, there was a young woman standing there in a maid’s uniform. She had dark hair pulled into a neat bun and sharp eyes that seemed to take in everything about me in a single glance.

“Good evening, Luna.” She stated with a quick bow, though her tone wasn’t as formal as her words.

“Who are you?” I blinked whilst staring at her and she just shot me a wide smile like we were best of friends.

“I’m Mia,” She answered, straightening her back as she dropped a bag onto the floor.
