He was right. I would not joke with issues that concern my child for anything.

Thinking about Andrew, my son and seeing him makes me think that Ethan was right here with us. The bog was just a replica of him and I am sure that he may have a heart attack when he sees that this boy resembles him so much.

I didn't know what to do about it. Out of guilt, I left my room and went to see him where he was being creative in his playroom.

“My baby,” I called him and as soon as he heard my voice. He jumped up happily and abandoned everything he was doing to hug me.

I lifted him up and played with his hair.

“I have missed you, my baby. You know that right?” I asked him as I brightened him down.

“I know, mum. Remember, you promised to take me out next weekend. Hope you will be available for that?” he asked and I chuckled.

To be sincere, I had forgotten that I had promised him such a thing. I was a terrible mum, I agree.
