I lingered in the hospital's dimly lit corridor, my eyes fixed on Bruce's room. The soft beeps of machines and hushed conversations created an eerie symphony.

A nurse emerged, her expression grave. "He's stable, but..." Her voice trailed off, leaving me wondering.

"...severe head trauma and potential amnesia," she continued, her words dripping with weight. My pulse quickened, a mix of curiosity and concern swirling within me.
