"Ophelia is missing and I need to know if she mentioned her whereabouts," Finlay said immediately Omega O'Cleigh opened the door to him.

And Ophelia's father exchanged a confused glance with his wife before returning his gaze to Finlay.

"What do you mean by that? We left her in your care," the middle-aged man didn't very much seem pleased about what he heard from his son-in-law.

"So you mean she didn't come over here before leaving?" Finlay was the one puzzled this time.

"No," came the response from Ophelia's mother who was knitting a sweater.

"Shit!" Finlay cursed under his breath and turned away from them. It was exactly two days after his wife left the castle.

"She overheard my conversation with you and then ran off." Finlay blurted out, holding the gaze of Omega O'Cleigh.

"My lord, do you mean she ran off with another man?"

"It never crossed my mind, but now that you have…"

"Then I think she has every right to," Ophelia's father interrupted him.
