Caleb ends the call with Alistair and sighs deeply because he has way too much on his plate to even consider thinking about what the hell just happened.

He also has way too many pressing issues at hand to even consider dealing with the baby mama shenanigan that is going on in his life.

Instead of wasting more time outside stressing over everything that is going wrong in his life, he makes his way towards Melanie’s room because even though there are cameras in the room, because he is stressed and tired, his mind does not stop painting the worst case scenario that could still happen to Melanie, even though he knows that it is just a gunshot wound.

On approaching the front of Melanie’s room, he sees that the people that he saw earlier and assumed were just the hospital visitors, are actually reporters and they try to get a picture of him, like insects swarming once they notice that sugar is present somewhere, while some are trying to get a picture of Melanie’s signage.
