Shea’s POV

I couldn't stop thinking about Hektor. The moment I saw him go out of the bathroom earlier, my heart skipped a beat. His chiseled jawline, his intense gaze, and the way his hair was slicked back made him look like he was carved out of marble. It was the first time I saw his body clearly. In the dungeon, it was too dark to appreciate his features. But earlier, I finally saw it under the light. My eyes couldn't help but wander over his well-defined muscles.

I couldn't believe how much Hektor was occupying my whole being by just letting me see his body. I was under his spell, unable to shake him off. Even as I scrubbed the kitchen floors, my mind kept drifting off to him. I could still see his piercing eyes and feel his gaze on me. It was like his presence was still lingering around me.

As I continued cleaning, I heard a faint whisper in my head. It was my spirit wolf, Evergreen.

"Shea, what’s wrong? You seemed distracted," she said.

"I can't help it," I replied. "I keep thin

Shea's POVThe next day, I couldn't contain my excitement as I made my way to Hektor's room for my cleaning duties. But as soon as I entered, something didn't feel right. Hektor, who had always been friendly, now seemed distant and cold. His once-warm eyes now pierced through me with an icy indifference that gave me shivers. The room itself felt like a forgotten chamber, swallowed by darkness and filled with the smell of alcohol. Empty bottles were scattered across the floor, proof of his recent activity. It was as if an evil presence had taken hold of him, snatching away the light that used to radiate from within.I put on a brave face, mustering a smile to reach Hektor's heart of ice. "Hey, Hektor," I greeted him, my voice full of hope. But it was like my words disappeared into nothingness. He hardly paid me any attention, his eyes wandering past me as if I were invisible. Shea's POV I ran quickly to the stream, feeling my heart beating fast and hard. Tears were flowing down my face, making everything blurry as I tried to understand what had just happened. Hektor, the man I loved, had hurt me once again, causing me deep pain and breaking the trust I had worked so hard to build. Deep within my thoughts, my faithful spirit wolf, Evergreen, emerged with sadness evident in her eyes. She softly spoke to me amidst the turmoil within my mind, saying, "I'm sorry, Shea," she said, her words tinged with regret. "I shouldn't have given you false hope, believing that Hektor felt the same way about us. If I had known, even if he was our destined mate, I would never have allowed him to hurt you like this, to kiss another woman right before us to inflict pain intentionally." I raised my hand, signaling for her to stop. Deep down, I knew that her intentions had been pure, that she had only sought to protect and comfort me. "It's not your fault, Evergreen," I reassur

Shea’s POVAs Hektor revealed his past to me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of shock and disbelief wash over me. He told me that my own mother, Elora Knightlock, had killed his father. “I can't believe you would accuse my mother of killing your father. That's outrageous!""I'm sorry, Elora, but it's the truth.”"No, it can't be true. My mother is kind and gentle, she could never do something so terrible." I tried to argue with him, to convince him that my mother would never be capable of such a heinous act, but his eyes remained cold and unmoved."I understand it's hard to believe, but the evidence speaks for itself. Look at this ring." As he handed me the ring, my eyes creased with confusion. It was a ring with the seal of the Royal Pack, a symbol only given to the highest-ranking officials. I swallowed hard and uttered, “What does this prove?”“My mom used to be a part of the Royal Pack and she was the daughter of the Gamma pair, the Blakes.”“The Blakes?” My eyes widened in d

It was crystal clear to me now that she was innocent in all of this.At that moment, I reached out to Crimson, my spirit wolf, residing within my mind. Crimson, my faithful companion, had always been there to guide me. And now, I had to admit that he was right. I had been wrong to castigate Shea for the sins of her mother, Elora. The realization hit me like a tidal wave, and I couldn't escape the remorse that flooded my being. I was a fool to have deliberately hurt her, knowing that she held no blame. Elora, not Shea, was the true culprit. It pained me deeply to witness the undeserved misery that had befallen Shea instead of Elora facing the consequences of her actions.Engulfed in regret, I whispered to Crimson, my voice laced with genuine remorse, "You were right. I should have listened to you.

Vlad exclaimed happily. "And look who's here to greet you!"Beside Vlad stood a young boy, his eyes wide with curiosity and excitement. My heart skipped a beat."Mommy!"
