Chapter 63 A Blur

The following morning, as Alexandrine woke up, she didn’t find Johnson right next to her and thought, “ He must have left already, it seems.”

She smelled something sweet coming from the kitchen and walked out of the room to go check it out. “ Who’s the one cooking in the kitchen and why does it smell so good?”

As she reached the kitchen, she saw a blur of Johnson being the one cooking in the kitchen. “ What am I imagining right now? Johnson is no longer here, so why am I suddenly thinking about him?”

“ Alexandrine, I can see that you’ve finally awoken. How was your sleep? Did you have a pleasant sleep?” Hearing the voice she knew so well, Alexandrine came out of her daze and looked in front of her and saw Johnson at last without any sort of hallucination blurring her mind.
