Humiliated

Julian's face turned red with anger and shame. Odette rubbed her husband's back and tried to calm him down.

While Heinz was just silent, he seemed unable to do anything. He looked at Sharlynn, who knew what she was thinking. But his daughter had no desire to look at him.

"It would be best if Mr. Julian and Mrs. Odette left the meeting room to make things more conducive. Besides, you two have no interest in the meeting," said one of the shareholders, a middle-aged man with dark brown hair, who was presiding over the meeting. His voice was firm and emphatic.

Sharlynn and Richie looked at each other with the urge to laugh. But Sharlynn had to resist the urge. They could only stare at how embarrassed Julian and Odette were.

Julian glared hatefully at Richie and Sharlynn. Both of the man's hands were clenched tightly into fists as if challenging Richie to a man-to-man fight.
