Chapter Seventeen - Laura

I've been walking for the past twenty minutes yet I haven't gotten to the city. I only saw a few cars passing while I walked under the scorching sun. Thankfully, I used sunscreen before leaving the villa.

I'm beginning to regret my choice of walking down to the city after Butler Hugo offered to book me a ride. I chose to walk because I needed to gather my thoughts after what happened this morning.

I didn't sleep a wink after Zion left the room to sleep in the other room. My mind kept repeating the event. I had woken up to the sound of someone whimpering only to see it was coming from Zion. I was trying to wake him up when he suddenly sat up screaming and pushing me away. My butt still hurt from the impact.

I wonder what could the nightmare be about and I wonder if he has them often. Nana told me he lost his family but she didn't go into details and I didn't ask since I don't feel it's my business. But right now, I'm very curious.
