Isabella POV
"You know something, I don't even have time to eat dinner, though I had dinner with you. And I wouldn't let my P.A leave me alone, yet I was here all alone with you and you have any idea why I am doing these stuffs?" he paused for a moment, glancing at me and I knitted my brows together as my inner me wanted to ask the same questions. "Because my daughter is my everything. I will do anything for her!"
I thought businessmen and actors do not care about their children but he proved my thought wrong.
"So take it in your mind that I'm doing these things only for my baby girl. Other than that I don't even care about whether you're alive or dead." he stated as a matter of fact.
I scowled, biting my lower lip not wanting to show him that his words hurt me. As I remained quiet, he continued. "And your payment will be-"
"We will talk about this tomorrow, sir." I said breathlessly and exited the room without expecting any reply from him.
How could someone has two faces? Which side of Christian is real and which is fake?
When I headed to my room I locked the door and sat on the bed, hugging my knees and recalled the words he said earlier which were still echoing in my ears.
-----I rubbed my eyes as I heard continuous knock on my door. I got up, cursing underneath my breath and opened the door to welcome the cheerful Hayden. He extended the coffee cup with a saucer and I grabbed it from him, smiling gratefully.
"Good morning miss White! You are already five minutes late and I can see still you aren't ready, so please make haste because Mr.Roberts is waiting for you. And today you're going to introduce yourself to Miss roberts." he said and I nodded before closing the door.
I guess, even if I did get a degree for how to be a nanny, that wouldnt be enough for this.. babysitting job.
I drank the coffee in one gulp and dashed into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and had a quick shower as fast as I could. Then I wore my favourite yellow-coloured knee length summer dress as it was my first day.
I came out of the bathroom and dried my damp hair with the hair dryer and applied mascara and red coloured lipstick before heading out. A guard led the way and when I stepped out of the elevator I instantly noticed Christian, whose back figure was facing my direction.
"Good morning sir." I greeted and he turned back and frowned when he saw me.
"Do you want me to wait until you come? you are working under me. not the other way around.." he said through his clenched teeth and I nodded curtly, mentally rolling my eyes.
When we came to Chloe's room he gestured at Hayden to stay outside and met my gaze nodding at me to go inside first. As I did so, we noticed that cute girl was watching some girlish cartoons on TV with a huge grin on her face.
She too had dimples on her both cheeks exactly like me. I hope we'd have so many similarities like this so my job would get easier than I thought. Christian made his way to her and sat on the bed beside her.
"Hi Princess." Christian said cheerfully.
When she saw him, she grinned widely and wrapped her small hands around his neck and hugged him tightly which he returned it back gladly.
"Good morning daddy!" she greeted in her strong accent, pulling away from the embrace.
"Today someone wants to meet you.. Look," he gestured to my standing figure and her hazel-green eyes turned to me and realized the presence of mine. "She's Isabella White! She's the one who's gonna take care of you. Say hello!" Christian said very gently earning a shout from his daughter.
"No way!! I want MOMMY only!" she screeched, shaking her head.
"Even I too can take care of you as your mommy." I stated kindly reaching my hand out to her but she jerked it away giving me a glare.
"No thankyou!" she snapped at me and turned towards Christian. "Daddy! I want mommy only! Where is she?" she scowled but all he did was letting out a sigh.
"Pebbles, mommy will be coming soon, I promise. Until that, she'll be with you." Christian announced, trying his best to be kind.
Chloe frowned, glancing around before setting her gaze on me, stretching her hand out. "Hello, I'm Chloe."
"I'm Isabella, nice to meet you." I grinned, shaking my hands with her as if we were agreed on some business contract.
Christian chuckled, ruffling Chloe's hair. "So.. are you okay staying with her?"
"Until mommy comes, right?"
"Until mommy comes." he promised, pulling her into a quick hug and kissed her forehead. "I love you, princess!"
She pulled away and smiling widely. "I love you too, daddy.."
Then Christian stood up and adjusted his coat and gestured at me to come out. I nodded and followed him until we reached outside.
He sighed for no reason and tucked his hands in the pant pockets. "Look! She's a little stubborn but don't be harsh on her okay?" he informed.
"I know how to babysit more than you." I declared resisting the urge of rolling my eyes.
He raised his eyebrows as if he wasn't expecting a reply from me like this.
"Great then. Hayden!" Christian called out Hayden and he appeared to our sight, holding some files in his hands.
"The list." Christian told and in no time Hayden handed over the list to him and after scanning it through his eyes for a few seconds, Christian gave it to me.
"These are some food recipes which Chloe likes to eat mostly; The likes and dislikes of hers has been written here too so you could get to know more about her."
I could ask all these stuffs by myself!
But instead of saying that, I nodded slowly looking at the list and when I was about to ask something more, he disappeared out of my view.
Woah! This guy!!
Then I folded it and slipped into my pocket before entering to Chloe's room. I sat on the bed beside her but she didn't bother about me as she was too busy on watching TV.
"Dolly, are you-"
"My name is Chloe! Not Dolly okay?" she snapped without taking her gaze away from the TV.
"But you look like a doll and I think it suits you the most." I remarked and her cheeks immediately turned to pink after hearing my compliment.
But she didn't utter any word so I tried to start up a conversation. "So what's your favourite colour?"
She laughed at the TV screen ignoring me like I didn't exist so I grabbed the remote and turned off the TV before placing the remote behind me which made her glare at me.
"Give me the remote!" she whined.
"First answer to my question, what's your favourite colour?" I repeated.
"I hate colours!" she grunted, folding her tiny arms over her chest.
"Why are you behaving like this?" I questioned, furrowing my brows.
"Because I don't like you." she admitted.
"But why?"
She sighed frustratedly and jumped at me to snatch the remote but I quickly wrapped my hands around her while she was trying to wriggle out of my grip.
"Let me go! Let me go!"
When a light bulb went off in my head, I let her go and put the remote down. She quickly grabbed it and turned on the channel she was watching earlier. I hoped that my plan would work.
"Why does everyone hate me? No one doesn't like me and I don't even know why." I fake-cried and saw Chloe's reaction in the corner of my eyes.
She actually paid attention to me as she set the TV volume down so I continued. "See.. now you also don't like me and I think I won't have any friends till I die." I wiped my invisible tears and felt a touch on my thigh.
I opened my eyes and saw Chloe; I could see the genuine concern in her eyes. "Hey! Don't cry okay? uh.. well.. I can be your friend." she told hesitantly which made me fist-pump in air mentally.
"Really?" I questioned still masking my face with a worried expression.
"Really! Now stop crying." she reached over my face and tried to wipe the tears which weren't even there.
I fell in love with her already!
"Thankyou Chloe." I said, smiling.
"If it makes you feel any better, I'll let you call me Dolly." she told and I chuckled heartily. "But under one condition."
"Yeah, what's it?" I asked with a curious look.
"You have to let me call you Bells. Because Isa-bell-aah is too long." she said and I chuckled again.
"No problem."
"So.." she pronounced slowly. "friends?"
"Friends!" I beamed and hugged her tightly which made her giggle. After having a long talk about her likes and dislikes while she was sitting on my lap, she suddenly asked looking at me face to face.
"Can you be my mommy until my mommy comes?"
"But where is your mommy?" I questioned with a mixed of worry and curious expression.
"I don't know, but I have never seen her. My daddy says she will come. But she never has." she told quietly, ducking her head down.
When I realized she was about to cry I cooed. "Hey Dolly! Look, I can be your mommy. Actually I'd love to."
"Ohmigod!" she gasped, covering her mouth with her palms and I smiled at her dramatic reaction. "Th-Thankyou." she blushed for no reason and I chuckled.
"You're most welcome, Dolly."
I wanted to know more about her mother but after Christian's outburst yesterday by the mention of her mom a.k.a his wife, I was already sure that I'd never get much details about her.
-----"Last spoon, Dolly." I extended the spoon to her mouth but when the door bell rang all over the mansion as if it was a fire alarm, she ran towards the door without eating.
"Dolly!!" I groaned and followed her behind, carrying the food bowl and put a break on my feet when I was about to bump into someone.
I instantly took a step back, looking up and saw Christian, staring at me in disbelief. "Do you get paid thirty thousand for playing hide and seek with Chloe?"
Well, yeah, that's too a part of my job right? Play with kids?
But before I could reply Chloe interrupted.
"Daddy!" she held her tiny hands around his right leg, smiling up at him and he lifted her up, wrapping his arms around her.
"Daddy, I love Bells!" she squealed and Christian frowned in confusion.
"Bells? You mean door bells?"
She laughed, shaking her head at Christian while he was looking at her and then at me back and forth in utter confusion. "What's funny, Princess?"
"Daddy, I meant her." she pointed at me and Christian turned his gaze towards me and rolled his eyes, when he saw my amused expression. "She's Bells."
"Oh.. okay." he nodded in acknowledgement. "Well, so, how's Bells treating you?"
"She's amazing!"
"Really?" he looked at me and raised his eye brows. "Yeah, she must be.. if she impressed you within one day."
I couldn't hide the blush that rose on my cheeks and Chloe averted his face towards her with her tiny hand and continued. "And she said she'll be my mommy."
And sooner the smile on his face replaced into a scowl.
"What!?"

Isabella POV "You seduced her by saying this huh?" he questioned through his clenched teeth. "No sir! She wished to be-" I cut off by him. "So if she wishes you to die, would you kill yourself?" he asked senselessly and Chloe looked at us back and forth in confusion. "What happened, daddy?" she asked him and he exhaled to control his anger. "Nothing Pebbles. Hayden!" he called out his P.A's name over his shoulder. Hayden stepped forward and Christian handed Chloe over to him. "Take her to the room." Christian ordered and Hayden nodded. When they walked past me, Chloe waved her hands to me and I waved back with a faint smile. When they disappeared, Christian grabbed my arm and dragged me to the elevator harshly. I tried to get myself out of his grip when we got into the elevator, but he's very strong than he appeared to be. "What are you-" "Just shut up!" Then the elevator doors opened with a ting sound and we stepped out and entered into his office room. He slammed the door b
Isabella POV When I was about to go to the room carrying Chloe in my arms, Christian called me which made me stop. "Isabella, Come to the dinning room after making Chloe sleep." Christian said casually as if there was nothing happened between us a few minutes ago. I turned around and looked at him with furrowed brows. "Why?" I questioned as I knew there would be a reason behind this sudden invitation. Chloe giggled at me, speaking on his behalf. "To eat, Bells. What do we do other than that in the dining room?" I looked at him and he smirked at me giving me a isn't-it-obvious look and made his way to the dining room. "Okay, Dolly! Now it's your bed time." I said and she pouted, shaking her head. "No.. I too want to join with you.." she whined. "But you already had your-" "Please..." she pleaded with her puppy dog eyes. "Alright!" I sighed in defeat and she waved her hands in the air dramatically. Then I entered into the dining room carrying Chloe in my arms. Christian was s
Isabella POV When I burst open the door, Christian got up from his rolling chair and dropped the phone on the table in surprise. My eyes immediately landed on the table where some white pills and injections have scattered messily. When he caught me where I was looking at, he hastily opened the drawer and slid them in it. I averted my eyes from his tensed-up-face to the wall behind him, trying to act nonchalant. He's taking drugs, isn't he? "How the hell you got inside? HAYDEN!" he screamed which made everyone even the inanimate things to flinch. Hayden opened the door swiftly and stood in front Christian, wiping his sweat off of his face. "Sir?" "How could you be so careless? You-" "Excuse me sir!" I interrupted and his cold gaze turned to me. "We will be leaving right after explaining why we came here. Actually, we all know you are messed-up in every way. But I never thought you'd be so careless with your words when it comes to Chloe too." I shook my head in disbelief and I kne
Isabella POV I turned on my phone and went through it and noticed my mom has sent me a few text messages and missed calls but none from Trevor which was kind of strange. I tried calling mom but it went straight to voicemail. Now I didn't have the mood to talk with Trevor too, but when I realized that I couldn't get my phone until next week, I exhaled. I wanted to keep my phone with me, but if he followed the rules then I should follow them too. So after staring at the lock screen wallpaper for a few seconds which was the picture of Trevor carrying me in a bridal style and looking down at me in awe while I was grinning at the camera, I got up and made my way to Christian's office. When I reached the third floor, there was no one infront of my view. Hayden said that Christian would be here till 10 p.m then where was he now? I entered back into the elevator, wondering about Christian's disappearance. I stepped out of the elevator and kept fast strides towards Chloe's room as I reali
Isabella's POV"Dolly! Wake up!" I tried waking Chloe up by shaking her tiny body gently that was covered by the thick blanket. She slowly got up rubbing her eyes and frowned at me. "Why are you waking me up so early?""It's 8 O' clock now." I pointed at the digital alarm clock which was on the drawer and she exclaimed."Ohmigod!!""Why? What happened?" I questioned with a puzzle look on my face but she ignored me, searching something on her bed and finally grabbed the thing under her blanket which was the TV remote and turned on the television which brought a bright smile on her face. She put the Nickelodeon channel which was showing the kids' all time favourite cartoon Dora The Explorer."Dolly you shouldn't-" I cut off by her."Oh please Bells.. I will do whatever you say after this cartoon finishes, I promise." she told sincerely glancing at me and I agreed as I didn't want this little doll to get hurt by refusing.Twirling a long strand of my hair with my fingers, I too started to
Isabella POV "Next is Miss Bells.." Chloe called out and I slowly walked towards the mini table which was a doctor's table now. I carried the Barbie doll in my arms and sat down on the pink couch across her. "Hello miss Bells! May I know your problem?" She sounded so formal with her strong accent, adjusting her stethoscope which was hanging on her neck. "Uhm.. I don't have any problem, Doctor. My daughter is the one who has high fever." I stated and she shook her head in disbelief. "You don't know how to play, Bells." "Why? What did I do?" I asked completely confused. "Doctor is the only one who tells the illness of your daughter, not you okay?" she explained and I suppressed my giggle before nodding. "Dolly- I mean, Doctor, actually my daughter has some kind of problem that I even don't know what the name is, so could you check her?" I questioned, acting dumb and extended the doll towards her and she nodded, grabbing it from me and placed the stethoscope's chest piece on the do
Isabella's POV"Okay Trevor. No worries!" I managed to say, trying to sound normal."Don't get mad at me. We'll surely meet sooner and I'll inform you when I free up my schedule." His voice convinced me as I could hear the sincere in it."Okay. And one more thing-""Babe, I'm getting another call so I'll talk to you later. Bye!""Trevor wait! I'll get the phone once in a week-" but all I said was useless as he hung up on me already. I took my phone from my ear and stared at the screen for a few moments to process every word we spoke in today's conversation. Why was he behaving weird lately? and he didn't say 'I love you' before hanging up.You're overthinking Bella!-----I had dinner with Hayden and he was such a cool guy than I expected. If Christian had spent more time with him, then he could've seen some changes in his behavioral."Even I'm so eager to get married but no one wants me to be their husband." he said sarcastically, stabbing the meat with his fork.Stirring my soup with
Isabella's POV "Is this your boss, Rosie?" I asked in a low voice to confirm my doubt and she blushed while nodding which shattered my heart into tiny pieces. I stood there like a statue, staring at Trevor who had no idea about my presence and the current situation, as he approached the hospital entrance twirling the car key with his finger. Christian and Hayden too approached me at that exact moment, as Christian said. "Let's go" but I ignored him completely and focused my gaze on Trevor. When Trevor made his way towards Rosie he slowly acknowledged my presence and gaped at me with widened eyes. "Babe!?" Hearing that word, Rosie turned towards him with a huge grin and he quickly averted his gaze to her and dragged her into the hospital, pretending to ignore me. "L-Let's go in." Who does he think he is? "Rosie! is he your boyfriend?" I asked at Rosie, keeping my gaze on Trevor and I could see his eyes widened as if he was thinking how the hell did I know Rosie. "Yeah, Bella. Thi
Emma Davis-Wilson"How long will it take?" I asked, glancing at Hayden through the mirror who was drying my hair with the hair dryer and he shrugged, keeping his full focus on my hair."No idea. Maybe an hour?" He deadpanned and I grunted in response and was about to stand up but he gripped my shoulder and made me sit back on the vanity chair again. "Don't be rushed. Today your hair is more wet than you, so it needs time."I gave him a flat look before speaking. "I'm starving here and you're trying to make some lame-ass jokes.""I stated merely a fact, Em." Hayden said, giving me an amused glance through the mirror while blowing out my hair. "You look cute when you're mad by the way.""So you're implying I'm not cute when I'm not mad, huh?" I asked and he shrugged, setting the dryer down on the table."I guess. Because as far as I know, you've always been mad with me." he stated and I shot him a mock glare."Because you've always been an asshole.""Ouch. that hurts." he placed his hand
Emma Davis-Wilson When my brain processed what Hayden said, I literally started panicking. Why on earth did Christian disclose this which no one had brought up for more than a year?I cleared my throat, trying not to meet Hayden's eyes. "I- um, I should head back. I'm.. tired."Before I could leave, Hayden gripped my elbow making me stop. "No. You can't leave unless you tell me everything.""Wh-What's there to tell?" I played dumb, shrugging my shoulders and Hayden let out a groan in response."Em, why won't you let me know you? Why can't you just open up to me?"I stared up at him and let out a soft sigh, shaking my head faintly. "It's not that easy..""But it's not hard either! I mean, you confessed all of this to Christian but you couldn't even share a single detail of your life to me ever since I've known you? How is this even fair?""Because you've never understood me even in the slightest!" I admitted bluntly and he seemed taken aback as he looked at me with furrowed brows."Wh
Emma Davis 2 years laterI scrolled through my Instagram and when I tapped on his profile, I noticed there was a round circle around his profile picture which meant that he had posted a new story.I instantly viewed it and my eyebrows shot up in surprise when he posted a picture of mine that was taken almost two years ago, in which I was obviously fake-aweing while showing my ring finger to the camera which had a giant diamond ring wrapped around it. And he has written 'Happy Birthday Em! Imy.' below that picture and didn't even tag me.Bruh!Eventhough his wish was so bland, my heart warmed as he has still remembered my birthday and never forgot to post it every year eventhough there were so many things that have changed over the period.Contrary to what I said above, I was still engaged to Hayden and he began the wedding plans three months ago when I told him I finally graduated.I didn't mind when he didn't attend my graduation ceremony. And neither did he mind that I was still no
Emma Davis The worst feeling, in my opinion, was when your life was falling apart and you couldn't do anything but pretend everything was fine as an Oscar award winner.I've had a lot of plans to do on Bella's big day but screwing my own life and being a broken-hearted maid of honour, wasn't one of them.I stood behind Bella with an impassive face, trying my best not to cry while she was confessing her vows to Christian. You may assume I was tearing up because my cousin's finally marrying the love of her life, but no, to be frank, I couldn't even be able to be happy for her, No matter how much I tried. All I wanted to do was, throw up because I was starting to worry that she'd get played too. That even the person you'd be ready to take a bullet for, would pull the trigger. And to make my situation worse, I caught Hayden glancing at my way now and then and it was really hard not to make an eye contact with him as he was straight ahead of me, standing a few feet away from Christian.Ha
Emma Davis "You've got any photo of him?" Hayden asked with a clenched jaw and I was suddenly fazed by his raw anger."No.. why?" I answered honestly as Kyle and I have actually never taken a single decent picture together as he hated being photographed and I never forced him either."How long have you guys been together?""Why do you care-""Just fucking tell me!"I glanced around at the people but they didn't seem to acknowledge our conversation as all of them were too busy to care about anything but Bella."Hayden, we're at church." I hissed and his jaw hardened as if he couldn't care less but nevertheless, he nodded at the entrance."Catch me outside." with that he stormed out and I sighed inaudibly before following him behind."Now tell me. How long have you been dating?" Hayden questioned, the minute we stepped out of the church."It's almost five months." I stated and crossed my arms over my chest. "But what's up with you actually?""You met him at your town?" He asked, comple
Emma Davis Wilson I waved one last time at Bella who was waving back at me through the window of her car.Chloe and Haley drifted off an hour ago and one was sleeping on Bella's lap while the other was in Christian's arms.Christian was totally wasted just like Hayden was, so he called his driver to drive them back home.Hayden has walked out with Christian to send them off and they were still talking, leaning on the car as if they didn't spend the half of the day, conversing with each other.Just as if they heard my thoughts, Christian nodded at Hayden and got into the back seat with Haley in his arms.I glanced around the place and it was a total mess, yet I didn't mind cleaning it all night because it was all worth it.It's been awhile since I've had fun like I had today and suddenly all the memories from the good old days flooded my mind.I smiled faintly, walking around the counter and grabbed the dirty dishes and put them into the sink. Then I put on the gloves, deciding to was
Emma Davis I unpacked the luggage that was lying on the bed when a pair of arms encircled my waist.I looked at Kyle over my shoulder and smiled as he pecked my neck and then my cheek. "Thankyou."I turned around, raising my eye brow at him. "For what?"He shrugged. "For everything. Especially, for respecting my boundaries."I smiled faintly as I, to be honest, didn't even know why I was agreeing to everything he said but maybe my heart was saying he was the right one and I was just listening to my heart.A couple of hours ago, we reached London and he refused to stay with me at Christian's mansion or the guest-house as he found awkward to stay together in a house with people he barely knew except me. So I agreed to let him stay at the hotel and I'd meet him once in a while, and he didn't mind much about my leaving as he had some business arrangements with some people in London too which would keep him occupied. My phone rang, interrupting my train of thoughts and we both looked at t
♡ Emma Davis Wilson ♡I called Hayden for the twelfth time but as per usual it went straight to voice mail.I peeked a glance at the living room and Bella and Christian were having a serious conversation which would be, doubtlessly, about the positions they'd be planning to try on tonight. But I silently thanked God as they still didn't any sneaking feeling, though Bella came to the kitchen a couple of minutes ago, asking if I needed any help and I just dismissed her telling that all I was planning to make was, tea and some popcorn.I tried to give Hayden a call one last time but when I heard the "Hi, you've reached Hayden. Leave a message." I placed my phone down on the counter, sighing heavily. What if I was in danger? He knew I wouldn't call him continuously unless it was serious, but yet this scumbag let his ego win.Way to go, Hayden!I began pouring the tea to the cups from the teapot, trying to think of ways to kill him that'd make his death more painful. Speaking of which, the
Emma DavisI stared at myself and noticed my hair has gotten two inches longer and I've gotten more tan which were not so huge difference, but for me, it was a major glow up.I was seeing Kyle for more than four months and maybe I barely knew about him and maybe I didn't know what relationship we were having, but still he was the reason I was serene again. He was the one who made me forget about the guy who I once thought would be the love of my life.I let out a heavy sigh when Hayden's face popped into my head. To be honest, after I came back home from London a few months back, I haven't had any contact with him till now.And the most important thing was, Christian has found Bella two months ago and they both have welcomed their second daughter, Haley Roberts. Then he proposed to her right after she gave birth and by the end of this month, we were going to celebrate their big day. And no matter how many fights we've had in the past, she inevitably chose me as her maid of honour. It'
