Clyde

While driving home, she dozed off with her head resting on my shoulder. I smelled her without thinking that it was real or that I was dreaming. At long last, I finally had her. However, my thoughts were interrupted by a car that stopped right in front of me and I had to stop the vehicle abruptly.

"What happened?" Olivia woke up and I kept her body steady with my arm.

Two unknown men got out of the car with guns in their hands. I learned to cover her with my body, unbuckling her seat belt in the process. "

Stay down and lock all the doors." I kissed her forehead and waited until she was no longer visible to the men outside.

“Wait! What are you doing?" She whispered at me with panic in her voice, holding my hand.

"Stay down, I'll be back shortly." I pulled away closing the car door behind me.

My grip on my gun became stronger. I never had been afraid before, but now I had Olivia with me. And was I scared? I was full of rage, my blood was boiling.

"What do you want?" I stood in f

OliviaI sprinted to the bathroom and I puked until my knees fell causing me to fall. My hands were trembling, my whole body was shaking. I was a murderer! I killed someone! And Daniel was downstairs not blinking his eyes while Gabriel took the bullet out of his arm. Not a single face feature moved. I had to bite my tongue whenever I wanted to call him Daniel. Maybe it was true, what he said, he wasn't Daniel anymore. And I was afraid of myself while staying close to his new version. Was that kind of life for me? Was I really brave enough or monstrous enough to take life like they belonged to me? On top of it, the cherry on the cake was my sister. I wanted to forget everything. I wanted to forget that I found Daniel and we kissed and did a lot more. I wanted to forget that my sister set a trap for me to separate us when we weren't even together. I wanted to forget that my father sold me for money to his enemy. If he found out that Clyde was Daniel, I don't know If he would approve my

Clyde"Who are you?" I asked, and then suddenly my phone rang.I saw Gabriel's name on the screen and declined the call. We were both pointing guns at each other."Well, clearly, you don't know who I am because you're a fake, it seems like you haven't done your homework." She always had a foxy smile on her face.Gabriel insisted again and again on the phone. I accepted the call putting my phone in my ear with the other hand, keeping my gun pointed at her. "Not now, Gabriel! I'll call you later." I said to him."Since you're still alive, it means you met him," Gabriel sighed from the other end of the phone."It's not he, it's a she." I kept looking at the woman.Taking off your eyes in a staring contest with the enemy shows how weak you are."Is that Gabriel? Tell him Kathy said hi." She smirked."Who the hell is Kathy?" My voice boomed and I could hear Gabriel cursing."She's Clyde’s girlfriend. I mean was. " Gabriel explained."Look, Kathy..." I had to improvise.Maybe that woman wa

OliviaI could hardly open my eyes. My eyelids were heavy, I blinked several times until I opened my eyes. At first, the image was unclear until I found my sister over my head with a pillow in her hands."Amara? What happened, where am I?" I looked around then stopped at Amara's face covered in bruises."Big sis, what happened to your face? Are we at the hospital?" I tried to stand on my elbows but I fell again, my body hurt."You don't remember what happened?" Amara narrowed her eyes at me."Oh, my head!" I touched my head which was exploding from pain."What happened?" I asked again, not remembering anything."We had a car accident, I was driving." She gulped.Oh my god, she must feel guilty, after what happened to her mother."Are you okay Amara? That's what matters, it doesn't matter if you were driving." I tried to make her feel better."I was going to put this pillow under your head. You have been out for two days. Are you sure you don't remember anything, little sis?" Amara put

Clyde"For f*ck's sake!" Gabriel cursed when he found out that Hope had lost her memory."When I finally had her, something else appeared!" I hit the wall of the hospital hallway with my fist."I'm starting to get annoyed. Imagine you. " Gabriel sighed."And the worst is she doesn't remember her sister is a snake. Now she might be filling her mind with bullshit about me while she is helping her get dressed up."I feared what her sister would tell her."Then don't her get closer to your wife any longer," Gabriel advised and I went and knocked at the door.I couldn't bear to see her like that again. Looking at me like I was a stranger like I was her enemy. She asked me why did I marry her, and I wasn't sure If I had to tell her the truth. For a moment, I felt relieved she didn't know who I was for real. A message came to my phone from Clyde’s ex -girlfriend."I guess your wife doesn't know your real identity. Shall I tell her? OliviaOf course he must have been faking it, I didn't believe one bit that man knew me better than I knew myself. No matter how handsome he was. But If he wanted to play, so be it."What is my favorite color?""Green." He smiled with the corner of his lips."That was easy, I might have mentioned it. Let me find a harder one." I tried to think of something that he wouldn't know while he waited patiently in front of me."Do I have any mole in my body?" There was no chance he would know that since he would have never seen me naked. I smirked."You have a mole on your back, right here." He place his pointing finger on my back,I could feel his hot breath on my face.“Then you have a small one under your foot, another small mole in your forefinger and another small mole in the inside of your thigh." He continued, blowing his hot breath on my face."Have we..? Have you..?" I stuttered."Many times." He licked his lips and I gulped.I stepped away widening my eyes in horror."No! No! No! Did

OliviaI had a strong desire to return home! I didn't know where home was, but all I wanted to do was go home. I considered Clyde to be my home since it was the ideal haunted house. My memory was gone, and Daniel was gone. As time passed around me, I felt as though I had been magically frozen. My husband, whose name I don't know, couldn't force me to stay there. I waited for my dad to answer the phone while biting my fingernails."Are you feeling well Olivia?" My dad asked as soon as he picked up the phone. "Dad, this man has a gun or many guns. I don't know. The house has guards, everyone here has guns." I said in a breath."So?" My dad laughed a bit."So, that means that man is involved in illegal matters." I made my point."I also own a gun Olivia, it is for protection. Your husband is a good man.""You do own a gun!!" I repeated in shock. "Yes Olivia, everyone these days need one. Especially me and your husband since we have enough money to be targeted. " I sighed. It was enoug

ClydeI wanted to punch myself for lying to her. I wanted to tell her that I was not dead. But it was better for her not to know. I knew her like the palm of my hand, she would become a barrier for me to take revenge on her father. I put my arms around her and kept her back on my chest while she was sobbing. At that moment I realized that I wasn't as heartless as I thought. It was because of me that she was in pain again, but I couldn't give up on her. I couldn't give her the freedom that she wanted. I couldn't lose her, at least physically because I knew in her mind I was a stranger who was holding her with force."Let go of me!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, and I removed my arms from her.I stood up and helped her stand up by keeping her from behind when she turned around and took out the gun from my waist."Give it back Olivia, what are you doing?" OliviaI didn't want him to touch me,I thought his touch would be disgusting. I didn't want him to kiss me. I always thought a kiss was a sacred touch, like exchanging the sacred breath with someone.I had a similar feeling with my first kiss with Daniel. No one has ever made me feel the same after him. There was no comparison to him. No kiss compared to his. Until I met the devil, how damn shocked was I when he kissed me as if I belonged to him, and flashbacks in my mind got mixed up until I lost consciousness? I woke up in the car, and he was calling my name with a worried face. Familiar green eyes and a familiar voice but more masculine. I closed my eyes again, focusing on his voice, and damn, I wanted to cry.And then it suddenly came back to me, all at once, how he touched me, how he kissed me, how I realized he was Daniel, my Daniel. Then my sister had an accident. When I opened my eyes at the hospital, she was standing over me with a pillow in her hands. Was she going to stra

OliviaWe drove back to our home silently. He and I needed to have a more in-depth talk about this dinner he planned and then kept his distance. We pulled into the driveway and I went inside without waiting for him. I made my way to the bedroom so we could have privacy. I could hear him following behind me. The bedroom door opened and then closed shortly after I had come in here."Did I do something wrong?" He asked.I sighed as I turned to look at him. "You are so hard to read and I don't know what to do about it.""What do you mean?" He questioned further."You seemed to be emotionless and distant at dinner, but before we leave you're apologizing for not being enough. Are you sorry or at this point do you just tell me what you think I want to hear?" I responded with a question of my own."No. I am sorry I haven't been enough." I could tell he was trying to sound sincere but it just sounded forced."Then why does it seem you didn't even want to be at the dinner you planned?" I felt l

OliviaThe past few days felt like a nightmare; Daniel was completely out of line, He hardly sat at dinner with me. He was stuck in his study, investigating the person who shot him. He even started to drinking which was the worst state to see him in. He refused to talk more about that night. After he admitted he couldn't be weak he took himself to the room I had when I originally came here. I was pissed he had been drunk but I tried to put my feelings aside because I knew it was more like a cry for help. He just needed to push his pride to the side and get the help needed. We couldn't live like this forever. He spent the next week trying to make it up to me in little ways. A couple of gifts here and there, nothing too extreme. He even put together a small dinner for my birthday tonight. I appreciated the gestures but it didn't fix anything right now. What I wanted was my husband back one hundred percent."Are you ready Love?" He asked as he entered the room."Yes." I nodded as I looke

Clyde I could feel myself becoming calmer after the doctor had left the room. I just wanted to get home and get back to my life. I felt like I was going crazy as I sat in this same room over the past few days. There wasn't very much entertainment in the hospital and I had things to do.I needed to figure out who attempted to kill me. I knew I was supposed to be relaxing, but when I was by myself, I spent time compiling a list. A list of people who I have pissed off and made enemies out of. It consisted of people who I cut business with, people who begged to do business, but I declined, and some old friends who are no longer in my life for good reason. I had pissed off a lot of people in my lifetime and I knew it.I didn't care at the time when I dealt with these people. I never thought I would have to worry about them hurting anyone else but me. Now things were different. I had a family I needed to protect and I felt useless recently. I needed to figure this out, not just for me but

Olivia I return to Daniel at the hospital after the information that I had just received. I needed to figure out the best way to bring it up to him. I knew it would cause him stress and worry and he didn't need that right now. But I also couldn't keep it from him, it wouldn't be right and he would be pissed if I did.I parked my car and headed inside to the hospital. The driver followed behind of course. He also accompanied me through the lobby and to Daniel's door. We needed to be careful. We both needed to make sure security didn't leave our side.I took a deep breath in and let it out before opening the door. "How is everything?" Daniel asked as I took a seat in one of the chairs."Everything is fine. She's doing well." I reassured him.It wasn't a total lie. Our baby was doing just fine for where she needed to be. It was my body that seemed to be having a problem. It had decided it was time to begin the process of her arrival. I knew we could handle her coming early, but it made

OliviaI’ve been spending my days at the hospital and forgot to do my weekly checkup at the doctor."I'll be back in a little bit, okay?" I spoke to Daniel as I gathered my things."I don't know why he can't just come here to examine you. It is a hospital after all." He wasn't pleased I was leaving."Because the doctor has a whole clinic with multiple patients," I responded. "I also have to check in at the store. Julia has been doing much more than she's paid to do.""Just get back here soon, Love." He sighed."I know. I won't take long." I reassured him. I placed my lips on his to kiss him goodbye. As I pulled away and headed for the door he grabbed my hand in his to stop me. I glanced back at him to see what he was doing. This man took a moment to check out my ass."Hmm." He bit his bottom lip. Olivia"I know. I know." He spoke as he used his hand to stroke my hair as he held me tightly. "I'm here. no one is going to take me away from you that easily.”I looked up at him. My cheeks were wet, as a few tears had escaped. I was holding back, though, as I was already sick of crying. My eyes and my head hurt from last night, and I didn't want it to get any worse. He placed a kiss on my forehead and proceeded to look around the hospital room. "What happened to me?" he asked."You were shot in the study," I answered. "There were four bullet wounds in total. Two on your right shoulder and two on your lower back. You lost a lot of blood and went into shock."He was quiet as he took in the information I shared with him. "The last thing I remember is going through emails. I got up to go to the kitchen to start figuring out what to make for you and then I fell to the ground.""I feel awful. You were laying there for hours because I worked late." OliviaIt had been a week since Daniel had been in the hospital, and I decided to go home, get a fresh shower, and rest. I left Gabriel to watch him as the driver took me home. The car pulled up to the mansion. I took a deep breath before turning the knob to go inside. The maid heard me come in and immediately came to me. "I'm so sorry, Madam. How are you holding on?" She was visibly upset. I knew she cared for Daniel and we all did.I tried to keep myself together. "I don't know, Rose. I don't know." I responded. This was also her first night back at the house. I called her and gave her the details while she was with her children. I didn't want her time ruined, and I even told her to stay longer if she'd like. She refused and wanted to be back on her normal day.The feeling of the house was different. I never minded being here alone but it was different when you knew he was eventually going to walk in the door. Right now I wasn't too sure when he would be back. I would give anything

I only left the hospital once I knew Daniel was stable. He hadn't woken up yet but the transfusions seemed to have helped him a lot. The doctor was satisfied with how much progress he had made. It was just a matter of time before he woke up.I refused to leave his side for longer than a few minutes. I wanted to be there for him when he did wake up so I put Julia in charge of watching over the store. She kept me updated on any information that I needed to know. It helped ease the stress of the situation for right now.It had been about three days since the incident, and it felt like the longest days of my life. I had decided to address the public, so now everyone knew he had been shot. There was a lot of support for him on social media. I was even surprised by some of the messages that I was receiving. People wanted to check in on us.The detective on the case had come in to talk to me. They reviewed the security footage along with other evidence like a footprint. They were confident t

Olivia I immediately dialed the ambulance number, and they rushed in a few minutes after. It was like witnessing a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. I couldn't believe this had happened, we had just talked a couple hours ago. All that I could do was stand back and watch the paramedics as they determined how stable he was. They moved quickly to get him on a gurney and back to the ambulance. We arrived at the hospital in a few minutes, and they took Daniel in.Who could have done this? My only guess would be my father since he escaped the prison, or Debra, but I wasn't sure."Mrs. Harrison?" A voice caused me to turn around. It was a male doctor."Is he going to be okay?" I asked."It appears that your husband was shot a few hours ago. He's lost a lot of blood from being left unattended for so long. His body had gone into shock, which is why he was unresponsive. We need to perform surgery to see about removing the bullets and to make any repairs to his organs," the doctor explain
