My eyebrows rose slightly at what I heard. I immediately darted my eyes at him. His lips parted as he looked at me. His gaze softened a bit while he’s weighing my reaction.

“You don’t need to, Alforo…”

I shook at the thought. If he’s eager to talk to me like this I don’t know where it’ll heading.

"You don't love him?" he mentioned seriously.

I was taken aback by his own words. His piercing eyes were fix on me as my breath hitched heavily. Why he’s doing this after all. He had a girlfriend. I bit my lip as I looked up at him again,

"I do not know. You’re supposed to go, Alforo. ”

I saw his gentle turn to me. His piercing eyes were surveying me like there’s something wrong. I forced myself to smile at him, but he just stared at me coldly.
