Chapter 63

Ezra concluded his speech and officially welcomed everyone. His mother was the first to get up on her feet, cheering for him, and the rest got up.

She couldn't be proud of her son's determination to get over all the hurdles that were thrown at him.

She walked up to the stage and hugged him. "This is just the beginning," she whispered.

She pulled back and walked to Sarah, hugging her too.

"Thank you for putting a smile on my son's face," Marian said.

Sarah had no idea how to react, though she was sure she was not supposed to be given any credit for Ezra's decision to fight.

"Come with me; Ezra showed me this beautiful red dress," Marian said. "Photoshoot starts right now."

"Now, like light now?" Sarah asked, looking behind Ezra.

"Yes, we are two weeks behind, and I will be in charge of directing the shoots," Marian said, asking the photographer.

Chelsea came running to the stage.
