CHAPTER 48.

Sydney soon came to realize her mistake which might cost her her job.

She could have thought it through before lifting her hands to smack Paxton,her boss tight and hand on his face but she was angry.

Being angry was not still no excuse for the ought not to take any actions in anger but on the other hand Paxton was wrong. What did he gain by lashing out at her so badly to the extent of uttering her a “gold digger.”

Sydney felt hurt,sad and angry at the same time. She knew he had not been treating Jaxton well but she never had the intention of stealing from him. She knew she was way better than that.

“What does he think of himself ,huh? To call me a gold digger. No freaking way I should have tolerated that. But fuck! I slapped my boss.” Sydney uttered as soon as she was save in her apartment.

“Look what you have done now Sydney. Look!” Sydney added as soon as she began to calm down she acknowledged her mistake she should not have slapped her boss.

Tears began to leave her ey
